I've been thinking of changing my username on here. Anyone think its a good idea/have any suggestions for a new name? I want to change it to something smaller with a better ring to it.

I can drop my class for a few hundred bucks or I'm most likely going to get an F, D at best if the teacher doesn't curve. I think my GPA can absorb a fail at this point, but I'm not sure what to do

DROP! Once you are failing a class, GTFO out of there unless you know there is a good curve. I learned my lesson already. I stuck by two classes that I was failing, believing I could get myself out of it by studying my ass off, but I realized I am not the kind of student who can pass a class when the teacher is of no help.

My school allows you to fail 3 classes and replace the grade by taking it again and it won't hurt your GPA, after that, you keep the grade in your GPA. I already used that twice on classes that aren't even related to my major, but I went from an F to an A both times, which should tell you how much the teacher factors into the grade.

yeah but dropping is expensive :\

idk if i am given a free forgiveness pass on anything, i don't believe i am, but i just calculated it and my GPA won't take too much of a beating from one fail. i don't know if there will be a curve unfortunately, and i only know the grade on one test :\

Dropping the class is the same as failing it in terms of money. You will probably end up taking it again and having to pay for it again.

I don't know if they charge you extra for dropping (which is kind of a dick move)

But if I drop it I have to pay for the class. Right now it's free

Sorry I never noticed your post. I might go with this one. Not a dramatic change so people will obviously still know who it is, but its shorter and sounds better. And was it meant to be a dunkin donuts reference?
