The Regime
I feel like Brooklyn has the upperhand because there is far more parity in the East, but with the moves the Mavs have recently made I feel like they could come pretty close. AJFromTheDMV
I'm just going with the team that has won before, the Nets still have a lot to prove.
Cleveland's Finest
Mavs. They'll be much better than last season, and you have to favor them due to the model of consistency for the past decade plus.
ballorama
I say Mavs get exactly 50 winsNets finish with 45-49 wins. Edited August 6, 2012 by ballorama

DunkinDerozan
Hmm let's see PG NetsSG Mavs YES OJ > JJSF NetsPF MavsC Nets Bench MavsCoach MavsOWNER TIED So mavs JJ>OJ Right now I'd say the Nets have better starters at every position other than PF. The only way I see the Mavs doing better is if the Nets heavily under perform.

TheNextBestThing
5 on 5 =/= 5 games of one-on-one. Mavericks are really deep, and I expect they'll do better. Edited August 6, 2012 by LocalGunfighter
JYD
Nets will have a slightly better year I think. I don't see Dallas with more than 45 wins, and I feel like the Nets will get around that.
Lemon
Collison-WestOj- RoddyMarion-DahntayDirk-BrandKaman - Brand I'm sure I left out some other ppl, but that's a very deep team. It'll be more competitive than the nets for sure especially since the nets will need to improve their front court. And yeah I left out Vince Carter on purpose.
