Need4Sheed
I just moved into an apartment with my girlfriend and she has a 50 inch Samsung LCD 720p that is fairly new. Just having an issue putting it on HDMI1. Current setup is.... 1. Samsung LCD2. Digital Cable Box (HDMI cable plugged into HDMI1)3. Xbox (HDMI plugged into HDMI3) The only time I can get a steady picture from the cable box is when it is set to the [TV] source setting. Only when the Xbox is turned on is when I get a picture from the cable box on HDMI1, BUT THE PROBLEM IS the picture only appears for about 5 seconds then goes blank. Really struggling with this because I never had an HD tv is the past. Desparately looking for some help on this one.

Lkr
Is it an older TV? Could be an hdcp problem. If you unplug the Xbox do things work? furthermore, have you tried other hdmi inputs? does the xbox work on input 1? does the xbox work with the cable box hdmi cable? a lot of variables, it could be anything from the tv, to the hdmi cables, to the cable box, to the inputs Edited August 18, 2012 by Lkr
