Sħãlïq™
Greek Team Panathinaikos Reportedly Interested in Ben Wallace http://i.imgur.com/O1dT8.png A team in Greece is apparently interested in possibly signing Detroit Pistons center Ben Wallace.According to a story on the website gazzetta.gr, Panathinaikos Basketball Club has shown interest in Wallace, an unrestricted free agent who has yet to announce his intentions for next season. Wallace originally said last season that he planned on retiring but he never closed the door on a return to the Pistons, for whom he has played nine of his 16 NBA seasons. We won't even try and quote the story out of Greece since it's a bit difficult to understand even after being translated. But you can read it for yourself and see what's being said about Wallace. It seems unlikely Wallace would be interested in continuing his career overseas since he turns 38 in less than a month and might be unwilling to either relocate his family or leave them behind in the United States at this point in his life. But stranger things have happened. The story out of Greece details Wallace's career and touches on the Pistons 2004 NBA Championship, the infamous Malice at The Palace brawl with the Indiana Pacers and his arrest last year for drunken driving and carrying a concealed weapon. http://www.mlive.com/pistons/index.ssf/2012/08/greek_team_reportedly_interest.html
