I dont think he realizes that if Bynum doesnt pan out that they dont need to resign him saving a ton of cash for the next FA market.

Lmao this guy is a [expletive]ing idiot. Sure the Raptors over-paid Landry Fields, but atleast he's an upgrade over James Johnson at SF. I can see why he would say thats a bad move, I understand that it isn't the best signing for sure. How the hell is trading a 1st for Kyle Lowry the worst move of the offseason for the Raptors though? Next years draft class isn't that great, and if the pick is going to be 10-15 like I'm expecting, than thats a pretty good trade. The D- rating is a joke.

In Sheridan's defense (never thought I'd say that since I think he is a hack) he believes Toronto will be one of the worst teams in the league next year so I'm guessing he thinks there is a good chance that the pick will be 5th overall or something.

 

I don't agree with him at all on that trade because I'd be very, very surprised if Toronto's pick is any better than 8th next year and the class sucks anyways, but that is probably the logic he is using.
