JMEWLS
Well he's stated that he wants to stay in the Magic. I'm hoping the Magic don't panic and give him a huge offer that will burden our financial situation. What do you think is the ideal pay for him? Do you think he'll remain in the Magic for the rest of his career.
Smitty
What did he make before?
Check my Stats
I think JJ Redick is a stud (for what he is). He knows his role, plays within it, maybe even too much to a certain extent at times, and is excellent at what he does (spreading the floor, defending, not making unnecessary mistakes. Really good player at an MLE-type of salary (maybe even a bit more like he makes right now). JJ Redick is the type of player you win with. I'd rather pay him 7M a year than JR Smith 1M a year. JMEWLS
MLE seems about right for him. He seems loyal enough, I hope we takes a pay cut to stay with us because I know teams are going to pay him some big dollars. Magic can obviously match but it has all the potential to just be a burden on the Magic financially.
Built Ford Tough
The Magic may have to overpay for him a bit in order to keep him around because you know that any contending team will be more than willing to get a player like Redick for the MLE. The guy is an ideal role player for all the reasons CmS mentioned. Like him, I love what he gives a team.
JMEWLS
No doubt, which is why I'm hoping we get him locked up with an extension.
