The Regime
New Jersey again, I dont want to jinx us but this game should be a walk in the park.
Poe
There are no jinxes. The Lakers should win for the right reasons.
Warren2ThaG
Win by at least 15 please, Fisher will be playing dispute minor injury. Hope to see a lot of Brown.
Universe
As long as Brook doesn't tear his ACL, I'll be happy.
Cobb
Expect like 5 people at the game with all 5 of them being Lakers fans.
Owner Real Deal Posted December 19, 2009 Owner Report Share Posted December 19, 2009 As long as Brook doesn't tear his ACL, I'll be happy.LOL, something to look forward to every game, I guess (players coming out healthy). Devin Harris could destroy Fisher, though...and I wonder what no-name from New Jersey will torch us. There's always someone. Should be a big, big game for Gasol and/or Bynum, though. Lopez isn't a good defensive player, and there isn't much size to handle those two down low.
Universe
Expect like 5 people at the game with all 5 of them being Lakers fans.I'm pretty sure it's reversible jersey night so they can either rock Courtney Lee or switch it inside for Kobe. Warren2ThaG
^we'll pull ahead in the next quarter I don't see it happening. It'll be a close game the rest of the game.
Owner Real Deal Posted December 20, 2009 Owner Report Share Posted December 20, 2009 Well, Bynum doesn't know how to stay in the game without committing four fouls in eight minutes (really?) and Gasol isn't giving us much. And, as I suspected, Harris is playing like he's a superstar. Go Kobe?
Owner Real Deal Posted December 20, 2009 Owner Report Share Posted December 20, 2009 As I typed that, Bryant grabbed his eighth board, leading the team in points, rebounds and assists tonight (17/8/5). EDIT: 19 points.

EDIT: 19 points. We shouldn't bench him, get 25/15 hehe.
The Regime
I knew we would pull ahead in this quarter, keep it up.
Poe
I watched a bit of the first half of this game... is it just me, or was a good portion of the New Jersey crowd giving "MVP" chants when Kobe was at the line, and cheering when he was making his free throws? The Regime
^^that happens almost everywhere he goes lol
Owner Real Deal Posted December 20, 2009 Owner Report Share Posted December 20, 2009 Kobe is doing what he wants now. The Lakers were down by a few, Kobe now has them up by nearly 20 after a quick 11-12 points, an assist or two and about 3-4 rebounds. Owner Real Deal Posted December 20, 2009 Owner Report Share Posted December 20, 2009 Bynum fouls out with 8:24 left in the fourth, after playing just 11 minutes. Wow. Bryant throws another assist to Farmar, turns the ball over (gotta limit those TO's), and the Lakers are up 19. Good block on CDR by Kobe! ChosenOne
Was Bynum is foul trouble all night? he only played ten minutes. Edited December 20, 2009 by ChosenOne
Owner Real Deal Posted December 20, 2009 Owner Report Share Posted December 20, 2009 Was Bynum is foul trouble all night? he only played ten minutes.Yeah, he picked up four of his fouls in eight minutes, the last two in 2-3 minutes. Really efficient player we have on defense! Kobe is probably done for the night, we're up by more than 20...quick turnaround once he took over, and Odom did have a hand in that, crashing the boards all of a sudden. Now it's Gasol's turn to pad his numbers a bit, lol.
Brand New
Hot Rod Hundley is [expletive]ing garbage as a Laker commenter. Seriously I'll rather mute it than listen to his dull voice.
Teletopez
Hopefully, CDR is okay. He just came off a knee injury. It's a good sign that he got back up quickly. Once again, we gave an elite team a scare, and then they slipped away. It's happened against Boston, Cleveland, Denver, and Orlando. We've always struggled to hang in there.
