SRV
My only concern thus far is that Wade is going 1000 mph at all times, he seems faster than ever before, but it hasn't helped him much. I also feel like he has gotten hacked a few times but either way, he needs to slow down and move the ball rather than drive in and throw up a circus shot...the refs aren't giving him the calls so far. Erick Blasco
Lee fell asleep on the Wade cut, first real mistake he's made today.
Erick Blasco
Wade forced a shot and jogged back. Call was iffy, but if he doesn't jog back, he's better able to stay in front of Pierce and not foul his shot.
Erick Blasco
Wade bit on a pump fake and has been real inconsistent in his focus. But he makes plays like that runner on Lee, plus that tip-in. Such a spectacular talent. Bosh has had problems in the post. Bass has played him well. I think he's missed both his pure post attempts on Bass.
The Regime
Celtics just look winded. That was their opportunity to make some kind of push with Lebron out.
Sħãlïq™
So much for Boston spoiling Miami's ring ceremony. And welcome back, Blasco!
Erick Blasco
No rim protection on these screen/rolls with the Celtics spread out worrying about Mike Miller, Ray Allen, Rashard Lewis, and Mario Chalmers. That's a lineup that can spread a defense though if you can defend their screens well, few of those guys are dangerous off the dribble. Boston has KG on the bench though so it isn't like the Celtics have rim protection.
The Regime
Jeff Green looked good in the preseason. Can't say the same thing about today though.
DunkinDerozan
Boston letting it slip away. Ray Allen making a big impact for the Heat. I stand by my prediction for 6th man of the year
Erick Blasco
My goodness, a travel by Green, then with 3 on the shot clock he gets posted by Rashard Lewis...why did he even get off the bus...
SRV
Damn we look pretty good, actually scoring on this asshole defense that rapes us all the time. We just have too many options on this team...poor Chris Bosh has nothing to do now. Lewis and Allen look rejuvenated, Lebron has silently put up like 25, and Wade has put about about 20. Erick Blasco
So much for Boston spoiling Miami's ring ceremony. And welcome back, Blasco! Probably not back full time lol, but I have no cable, I can't record this game, and there's not much to do with NYC shut down thanks to Sandy...plus I missed you guys! Erick Blasco
Probably too late for this game, but the Celtics are finding out that Barbosa can really bail them out of scoring slumps but offense hasn't been a problem. Miami's scoring at will right now, especially with Lewis posting up like he's in Seattle, and shooting like he's in Orlando. Miami has so much offensive depth. Jason Terry has had a real poor game passing the ball and bad passes have led to Miami getting out in transition. He needs to be sharper. Finally, Allen has looked great. Not just shooting, he's beating people off the bounce and finishing terrifically. He looks like a star again.
The Regime
And that's why the Pacers have the best chance against the Heat. Better wing play offensively and defensively, and they'll actually make the Heat pay for playing small boy.
Erick Blasco
Chalmers overpenetrated and missed a wild shot, then he traveled. First bad mistakes he's made in the game. KG provided good help on a Wade drive and it let to a Rondo layup. He has to finish the game and play well for Boston to pull the comeback, but the Celtics have no rim protection when he's not in. Can they survive the season without another defensive big?

The Regime
Are the Heat fans really chanting "beat LA"? Atleast they're smart enough to realize that the Lakers are the team to beat.
Erick Blasco
Invite? I does what I wants lol! Miami's screen-the-screener horns offense doesn't work with their bench because Lewis is so soft on screens and never sets good ones. The little edges the Bosh/Haslem/Battier combos give Miami don't materialize with Lewis. KG is starting to make some plays to go with Rondo and Barbosa and we have a game. That and LeBron is out with cramps which helps.
Owner Real Deal Posted October 31, 2012 Author Owner Report Share Posted October 31, 2012 Blasco the beast. Boston has no rhythm on offense. Too much uncertainty right now, probably confused over how they are going to incorporate everyone into their offensive sets. Defense is absolutely horrible, though. Giving up on screens, no help, no communication. They are still keeping it close, though.

The Regime
[expletive]ing Garnett gambling on defense and killing any momentum that the Celtics had. Rondo does work though when he has guys that can run the floor with him.
Erick Blasco
Kerr talks about Boston with no help at the rim on Chalmers' layup. Chalmers had Pierce switched onto him and it's harder for Pierce to slither between screens than it is for Rondo. Pierce picked him up because Battier set a good screen forcing a switch. It's easier for Miami to execute their stuff with Battier. Of course, when Battier tries to make a play off the dribble it's a disaster but that's the tradeoff. It's also great for Boston that Barbosa, Lee, and when he gets comfortable, Terry can all run with Rondo, something they lacked in previous seasons. Also, huge layup for Bosh coming up big by beating KG in the post with a one-on-one move and layup.
