Teletopez
Just under 23 days from this madness.
Teletopez
Announced not too long ago that the game is still scheduled for November 1. Subway situation will be evaluated tomorrow. About 75% of attendance was expected to use public transportation, so hopefully everything still works out. Will be truly something if we're still seeing a packed crowd that night. I think they should delay the game until Saturday or something.
Teletopez
Yeah. I think they should delay the game until Saturday or something. Then they'd have to push back the Toronto game. And I believe there are other Barclays Center events sprinkled around the Nets' schedule, so there weren't a whole lot of options. I'm happy for the Nets fans traveling from afar that don't get their trip plans thrown off by a changed date (although transportation is quite the challenge now). NomarFachix
RT @HowardBeckNYT: Another source confirms what my colleague @richsandomir just tweeted: Mayor to announce cancellation of Knicks-Nets game
Teletopez
No idea why they rushed the announcement yesterday. I was expecting the announcement to be today anyway. Two nights before with so much transportation uncertainty was a terrible decision and probably caused a bunch of people to purchase parking passes and make hasty decisions. The postponement seems to be a good move for the most part. I just feel bad for all the people traveling from outside the U.S. to see this game. Teletopez
Ticket prices on resale markets also dropped like crazy, so anyone whose tickets got sold really got screwed over.
JYD
Damn. Oh well. I guess the first Knicks game will be Friday then (hopefully).
The Next Knick
Just saw that this was postponed, both teams open up on Friday now. Hopefully I can watch the Knicks through TV instead of radio, lol.
Teletopez
Game has been postponed to Monday, November 26. I got a refund for the game. Even if I do choose to go (probably won't, being that it's a Monday night), I'd like to spend less than what I did for what was originally the arena opener against the Knicks. Owner Real Deal Posted November 2, 2012 Author Owner Report Share Posted November 2, 2012 I'll have to find a way to bump this game down into the pool of topics...maybe change the post date through the database. Hmm. EDIT: Worked!

The Regime
Deron opting not to shot the half court three at the end of the first. Smart decision considering how piss poor he has shot from the perimeter this season.

The Regime
... or he just didn't know how much time was left on the clock. I was trying to make a joke. -_- I'm pretty sure he was aware, Knicks just did a good job doubling him and not giving him an opportunity to hoist a shot up. The Regime
I'm impressed with Joe Johnson today, on both ends of the floor. His defense on JR has been outstanding.
ChosenOne
Williams has been mad broke so far this year. He has to start knocking down at least the open jumpers.
