Milwaukee @ Indiana

Indiana could not have been more fortunate with all the missed free throws by the Bucks, including the final four ones that would have sealed the game. Ford should not have attempted that 3, the ball should have been in Murphy's hands. The Pacers should have also saved that timeout with 19 seconds left, which would have been useful with four seconds left. Then again, it's easy to say that after seeing Milwaukee miss all four key FT's.

It's nice to get a win, no matter how sloppy of a win it was.

We missed out last 7 free throws and it almost cost us again. That's something we really need to work on if we intend to win the close games. You can't shoot less than 50% from the charity stripe and expect to walk away with the wins. You also can't turn the ball over 15 times and give up 15 offensive rebounds to your opponent. There's a lot we still need to work on if we want to be a 6-7 seed in the East.

Not all was bad and sloppy though. Bogut has arguably the best game of his career. He knocked in 31 points to go along with 18 rebounds. He's shown these little spurts a few times this season. I really wish he could play with this intensity and passion every night. I'd be happy with 20/10 from him (something I feel a #1 overall pick should be able to live up to). His 3 blocks and 1 steal also helped the Bucks defense tonight in a close battle.

Other key performances tonight came from Jennings and Redd. Neither player shot well in this game but they both contributed a nice amount of points. Redd had 14 while Jennings has 16 points, 2 of which came with just over a minute left on a clutch shot over the ex-Buck TJ Ford.

I'm just happy to see us get a win after losing some close ones in the last week to some of the top teams in the NBA. These are the games that could ultimately affect our season as a whole so it's good to walk out on top for a change.

Bogut is underrated. Anytime I watch the Bucks play, you can see the change of energy on the floor when Bogut comes in and out of the game. I didn't watch this game, but you can't say those 31 points, 18 rebounds, and 3 blocks weren't an impact.

Jennings and Bogut have been a great duo this season. They just need Redd to fit into the mix, and they should remain in the playoff picture for the rest of this season.
