Any news on why Tracy has not played his 7 minutes yet?

Tracy McGrady left the Houston Rockets and returned home Saturday after being told by coach Rick Adelman that despite McGrady's wishes, his playing time would not increase.

In a strange twist to a story that has had its share of weird plot turns, the Rockets said McGrady received the team's permission to fly back to Houston, in part so that be could be home for his the birthday of his young son, Laymen.

But there clearly was an impasse between McGrady and Adelman about what the next step should be in McGrady's comeback from microfracture knee surgery, and the Rockets said the situation would be readdressed Monday after the team returns home from a back-to-back set against New Jersey and Cleveland.

"That's what I'm trying to figure out: Where do we go, and still keeping the rest of the guys moving forward?" Adelman said. "It's kind of a balancing act in trying to figure it all out, and I do not have the magic answer. I wish I did."

I guess you guys saw the article on McGrady yesterday I think it was. He says he's back.

“I will tell you what … if anything were to happen, whoever [trades for him] is going to get a hell of a player,” McGrady said. “A hungry one, too.”

Personally, I'd love to see him traded because there is no point in him being on the Rockets when he all does is sit on the bench or play seven minutes each game. With that being said, I also wouldn't be surprised if he were to get injured again within a few weeks.

We've had a variety of problems in our losses, but I'd say the most consistent one has been getting out-rebounded. The Nets allow way too many shots at second-chance points, and that's what made the difference against the T'Wolves and last night. Houston had 16 offensive boards, and they had a 51-39 advantage over us off the glass.

We displayed a lot more fight in this game, though. Our offense and defense were both present in the second half. Tomorrow could be an interesting game against OKC.
