Yi is a revelation, the first player all season that has bothered to take the ball from the perimeter to the basket multiple times in a game. It seemed like something impossible for the rest of the team. I don't know whether it was his work this offseason or Del Harris, but Rod Thorn's patience with him seems to be paying off.

We've gone 19 straight games without outrebounding our opponent. The record is 20.

It was hard to know what irked him. Maybe it was touch fouls that put him on the bench six minutes into the game, or the lack of touches (six shots) he had in the first three quarters. Perhaps he was just doing a slow burn after getting burned by Nenad Krstic from the perimeter.

Maybe it was all of that.

Either way, Brook Lopez fled the locker room and didn’t talk to the media after the Nets were clobbered by Oklahoma City last night, and his teammates could only provide theories.

"It wasn’t the type of night he would like," Rafer Alston said after the 105-89 loss. "He always wants to excel for this team and it wasn’t one of his better nights."

"It was a tough night for him all around," said Devin Harris, who reiterated that Lopez should be the team’s first option, but he wasn’t adjusting to how OKC had fronted him. "Not being in the game offensively like he wanted to, like we would want him to ... and then the fouls. The kind of ticky-tack fouls he got in the first half were tough. It was kind of a double-banger for him."

You're going to get outrebounded when you miss so many shots and your center can't jump. :(

I'm not the least bit surprised about our rebounding problems. It looks like everyone on the team has butterfingers.

The :( is because Lopez fled from the media. Hopefully, he bounces back.
