DunkinDerozan
Lakers should go beg Mike Brown for forgiveness. Or even better, beg P-Jax to come back. D'antoni is obviously not the right fit for this team.

Make It Naaaashty
It's not the coach's fault that Kobe shot terrible or that the team turns the ball over 30 times a game. Lakers cant do the simple things which is why they cant win.
kingfish
he played better than kobe, that's for sureConsidering Kobe shot 10-32, yeah thats an easy target. At least Kobe isnt a revolving door defensively. Pau can score as much as he wants, he gives up twice that on the defensive end. You basically saw Andrea Bargnarni out there and he wasnt playing for the Raptors. 5 rebounds in 33 minutes? Gasol is pathetic. Earl Clark had 14 rebounds, and a +14. Hes the MVP of the game. Check my Stats
No accountability on this Laker team whatsoever.

Built Ford Tough
When you have this much talent on a team and play like that, I don't know how you can't put blame on the coach It is still on the players to perform, though. Sure, you can argue that D'Antoni doesn't exactly put his players in the most optimal position to succeed (playing Gasol as a stretch 4 for example) but when you have Kobe Bryant shooting 10-32 and have your starting backcourt commit 10 turnovers, you can't absolve the blame from the players and turn it around on the coach. At the end of the day, you can only do so much as a coach. If your players aren't getting back on defense, making lazy plays resulting in turnovers, blown defensive assignments and poor offensive execution there isn't a whole lot you can do. The system may not be ideal and that is definitely a valid argument but the effort level of the players is just abysmal and that is on the players. Warren2ThaG
I don't think we can make the playoffs with games like this happening, we need a big winning streak to change my mind. Western Conference is too strong.

fish7718
Was that one of the best game of Landry Fields' career? Obviously I didn't see a whole lot of him with the Knicks but I would definitely think this game is at least in the top 5 for him. I know he had a few really good games his rookie year so this probably isn't at the top of the list, but it was an awesome game for him. It's def possible if he was match with Kobe..
