DunkinDerozan
offense from both teams has been brutal for the first half, especially in the first quarter.

NomarFachix
cut the lead to 3? lets make a completely egregious call on a failed alley oop
Built Ford Tough
cut the lead to 3? lets make a completely egregious call on a failed alley oop Make up call for the joke that was the Lowry ejection. By the way, I agree. That was a brutal call. Gay just missed it, like he did pretty much everything else tonight. The refs were just pathetic tonight from what I saw. I've seen a lot of poorly officiated games this season but they are usually the type where one team (usually the Raptors opponent) gets all the calls. Today it was just brutal call after brutal call on both ends of the floor. Add to that all of the missed layups and wide open jumpers and this was definitely one of the most difficult games to watch this year. The Raptors game against Indiana the other day was ugly, but it was one of those fun ugly games. This was just bad.
NomarFachix
Yeah, it was definitely ugly. I'd say it could have been the ugliest the Knicks played all year. Melo looked hurt or exhausted, but still wouldn't [expletive]ing give the ball up. HATE watching him when he's in that mode, and Woody refused to open the rotation up. All-star break better be good to us, rest up fellas.
JYD
game was wack. on both sides. raptors offense was wack, knicks offense was wack. it was a [expletive]ing bore to watch. refs were soft too,T'ing guys up for nothing. Idk what Melo was doing tonight. He was missing FT's, easy layups. In the last 5 minutes of the game, I think the Knicks missed 3 transition layups that they always make, or get to the FT line on ... and neither happened. That was pretty much the ball game. Built Ford Tough
Melo and Gay seemed to get too caught up in that individual matchup and hurt both their teams. You can see that both players wanted to get the best of the other. I imagine some of that stems from them both being from the Baltimore area and that whole "hometown rivalry" crap. I don't know if they have a personal relationship or what, but there was definitely something else there. It got to a point in the 4th where the other 8 players on the court should've just sat down or something, because you knew that it was just going to be Gay isolating against Melo and vice versa. Fortunately for the Raptors Gay seemed to come to the realization that he was hurting the team and defered sooner than Melo did. I really think that was the difference in the game. Gay realized he sucked quicker than Melo did and Toronto won because of it.
