bigdog17k
Kobe basically pushed Rodriguez down... is that allowed?
The Regime
Damn I cant even remember a stretch when a player hit as many game winners as Kobe. What a beast, he might have gotten away with a little push.
bigdog17k
he might have gotten away with a little push. Unless Rodriguez was trying to sell it, it looked like a hard shove really. IDK, still a clutch 3...
Guest California Dreamin'
Another great game by Bean. Just tired of watching this team depend so much on Kobe and having him put the team on his back. When are these guys going to step up and win the game? LA should be winning games against the Queens, Heat, etc. without needing a game winning shot from Kobe. KOBE DID IT AGAIN!
kingfish
Im really sick of playing 30 minutes of mediocre basketball then flipping the switch for one half trying to come back from a huge deficit, it always ends up going to the wire and Kobe having to bail us out. We cant seriously think this kind of effort will be good enough against better teams in the NBA, it didnt work against the Cavs and wont work against any contender. Ron is usually the hungriest guy on the court, cause he didnt get a ring with us last year, but yeah, we are way too complacent. Also im sick of mediocre teams playing the game of their lives just so they can get a win against the defending champions. We really do have a target on our back, you can see it when we go on the road where fans go crazy and at home when players on the bench act like they just won the NBA finals after they get a big lead. The bottom line is we are playing down to their level and it gives them confidence. We ended up outscoring them by 16 in the 2nd half. Im glad Kobe celebrated right in front of their bench, they were acting like douchebags all night. And its nice to see Kobe add to his league lead in scoring, and improve on the number 1 overall record as a team, but this kind of play cannot continue. There is 48 minutes to a game, not 24. Keeylay
I sure do hate Kobe Bryant right now. Another game winner
bigdog17k
Well the past few games the Lakers look like the come out unprepared. Down by a ton at half then step it up in the final two quarters to get the win. I guess it works, but like you said that would get really annoying as a fan. Especially against teams you know you should beat. It also hurts not having Artest available. Because with Odom starting it gives you hardly any depth at bench. The Regime
^Hey atleast you have a legit excuse, no Tyreke. This was a sad win for us, we get lit up by Spencer Hawes for a career high 30 points, and you guys held the held the lead for almost the whole game. Those free throws from Udoka would have iced the game. Edited January 2, 2010 by Confidence

There is 48 minutes to a game, not 24.I only watched the 4th quarter, so I cannot comment too much, but against a Kings team without Tyreke Evans, the game shouldn't have been so close, and we shouldn't have to rely on Kobe to hit a game winner. I agree 100%, throughout the season we've been playing lazy [expletive] basketball. We let teams hang on instead of killing their spirit. Hopefully that changes soon because I'm sick of tired of the team half assing it on the court every night. We always come out slow as [expletive] and decide to flip the switch halfway through the 3rd. pathetic Edited January 2, 2010 by Willie Green

Beastley
Not going to bring in the reffing but we really cost ourselves in this game. We should've won this game, but well move on. The positives out of the game are Spencer Hawes and Casspi obviously, but also the fact that we were able to hang with the Lakers for the full 48 without Tyreke. Tough loss but we'll move on. xx.
A Kings team without Tyreke Evans, Kevin Martin and Francisco Garcia.
Owner Real Deal Posted January 2, 2010 Owner Report Share Posted January 2, 2010 Why does it seem like the Lakers lose games through three, or keep them close, on purpose...just to come back in the fourth and have Kobe hit a game-winner? Third one this season. And yeah, I already see people complaining about a push-off, a travel, or a step out of bounds. Please. The Kings' bench wasn't complaining about the sideline, the push-off was actually just Kobe running into Sergio (just take a look at it again), and there was definitely no travel. Thing was, we were down 20, and Udoka missed BOTH free throws with four seconds to go. You can't start placing blame elsewhere for the Kings' mistakes. Fresshh.
Kobe just has a scorers mentality, and he has the killer instinct. That's why he goes out every night and not only scores, but he facilitates and creates for his teammates, especially his big guys like Gason and Bynum. This guy is amazing. 3 Game winners so far, amazing. ~ Fresshh.
