Kobe24
Interestting that he has 3 buzzer beaters this season and only three other plays have one.
NJNJ
Why does it seem like the Lakers lose games through three, or keep them close, on purpose...just to come back in the fourth and have Kobe hit a game-winner? Third one this season. And yeah, I already see people complaining about a push-off, a travel, or a step out of bounds. Please. The Kings' bench wasn't complaining about the sideline, the push-off was actually just Kobe running into Sergio (just take a look at it again), and there was definitely no travel. Thing was, we were down 20, and Udoka missed BOTH free throws with four seconds to go. You can't start placing blame elsewhere for the Kings' mistakes. These kinds of games Lakers constantly put on give me heart and anxiety problems.
Doc
Reallly tho? You're gonna put Sergo on Kobe?
Fresshh.
I agree with Doc, Sergio can't guard Kobe for [expletive].

The fact that throughout the game here is how the fouls went. The key parts. http://i47.tinypic.com/2yo909k.jpg http://i50.tinypic.com/dbmcjs.jpg I mean Bynum and Gasol a combined three fouls?
Owner Real Deal Posted January 2, 2010 Owner Report Share Posted January 2, 2010 That's because neither of them were playing defense, and the Kings weren't pounding the ball inside. Evans and Martin would've gotten Bynum in quick foul trouble...which would've been a good thing for us, since Mbenga would've defended Hawes five times better. alcstarheel
Im really sick of playing 30 minutes of mediocre basketball then flipping the switch for one half trying to come back from a huge deficit, it always ends up going to the wire and Kobe having to bail us out. We cant seriously think this kind of effort will be good enough against better teams in the NBA, it didnt work against the Cavs and wont work against any contender. Ron is usually the hungriest guy on the court, cause he didnt get a ring with us last year, but yeah, we are way too complacent. Also im sick of mediocre teams playing the game of their lives just so they can get a win against the defending champions. We really do have a target on our back, you can see it when we go on the road where fans go crazy and at home when players on the bench act like they just won the NBA finals after they get a big lead. The bottom line is we are playing down to their level and it gives them confidence. We ended up outscoring them by 16 in the 2nd half. Im glad Kobe celebrated right in front of their bench, they were acting like douchebags all night. And its nice to see Kobe add to his league lead in scoring, and improve on the number 1 overall record as a team, but this kind of play cannot continue. There is 48 minutes to a game, not 24.Agreed with everything, especially the Sacramento bench reacting on every made basket like it was the Finals. That stuff got pretty annoying pretty quickly. Final minutes and key points of the game that stuff is fine, but the WHOLE game? I was a little annoyed with Cassipi and Hawes yelling and pumping their chest on every play while they were in the game as well. That's more understandable since they were actually doing something. I guess i wouldn't have been as annoyed with them if it weren't for their bench. Oh well. Maybe I was just annoyed because we played like hot donkey rear end. That's the more likely reason. Fisher couldn't hit crap and our defense most of the game was reminiscent of the Mavs game. If we didn't have Kobe we would have lost by 30. Odom started the third quarter well for us and then Kobe finished it. We shouldn't have needed that, though.
GamerGuy
Thank you Udoka for the choke job, and thank you Kobe for saving our hides with that game winner. We really need to stop playing bad basketball in the first half, its like we're doing it on purpose. Need to get back that killer mentality and just blow teams out from the get go. Lkr
I think its obvious the Lakers are just coasting right now. They know games don't matter for another 3 months at the earliest. They learned last year and the year before that teams can enjoy their regular season success Edited January 3, 2010 by Lkr
Be Like Mike
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nyD6wrGxRS8 Didn't really think Kobe would pass MJ in GW's this early.
