Snap's Distinct Phelps
Who's better?
ChosenOne
Honestly its not even close. Conley is better than him in just about every way, except for maybe attacking the rim and even attacking cant really be judged as he isnt asked to do so for the Grizzlies. Snap's Distinct Phelps
I kinda agree, but I think Conley doesn't have Lin's guts, Conley seems to just help out his teammates.

Well he has had teammates like Rudy Gay, Marc Gasol, Zach Randolph, and OJ Mayo who all are better options than him on the offensive end. Im not sure whether he does or doesn't have guts, but i am sure that with his surrounding cast he doesn't need to show them, unlike the Lin situation last year. He isn't very big or strong, so going inside is hard for him because he gets so banged up. People don't realize he's about 6'1 with a light frame so he settles for jumpers. Owner Real Deal Posted October 15, 2012 Owner Report Share Posted October 15, 2012 Well, it's still preseason, so it's better to wait until Lin sticks his hand into 20 games or so with Houston. Right now, you're almost forced to say Conley, simply because Lin is a turnover machine that didn't have a full season of good play. However, it won't surprise me if Jeremy Lin ends up being better than Mike, because the truth is, Conley hasn't been THAT impressive to begin with.
Cleveland's Finest
Conley is better most of the time, but when both are at their best, Lin is better. I've never seen Mike Conley take over a game like Lin has. It depends on what you prefer - consistency or high risk/high reward.

We haven't even seen enough of Lin playing big minutes. The streak of Linsanity was pretty insane, and even when Melo came back, he was pretty good, I believe averaging 14/6. Ask me this in December or January and I could actually answer the question.
Check my Stats
Conley is underrated. Solid starter in this league. Jeremy Lin is a backup point guard. Dragic vs Conley is a more intriguing comparison, if you really want to make one. Edited October 15, 2012 by Check my Stats

Dragic vs Conley is a more intriguing comparison, if you really want to make one.Nah, Jeremy Lin can start in this league. He's no superstar, that's for sure. But even after teams started figuring him out last season, he still averaged 14 points and 6 assists. If he can limit his turnovers, he can surely be a starter in the NBA.
