Cobb
Orlando is coming off a loss to Washington so hopefully we can take advantage of that. I guess Carter is going to miss this game? He is listed as day-to-day and is supposed to have an MRI today.
Owner Real Deal Posted January 9, 2010 Owner Report Share Posted January 9, 2010 Orlando isn't just coming off a loss to Washington, haha. They've lost four consecutive games, 5-5 in their last ten. If Atlanta gets this one, they jump them in the standings...and I wouldn't be shocked to see that happen. Then again, if Carter isn't playing, the Magic could be a tougher team. They'll play their defensive players more.
The Regime
Magic are in a slump, I really like Atlanta. Edited January 9, 2010 by Confidence
Cobb
I didn't even realize the Magic were next in line for slumping. First, Atlanta, now Orlando. Wonder who's next.
ChosenOne
Vince Carter out Saturday w/ shoulder sprain Vince Carter will not play against the Hawks on Saturday because of his sprained left shoulder. He remains day-to-day and Orlando doesn't play again until Tuesday, so hopefully this will be the only game he misses. J.J Redick will probably start at SG in his absence, with Mickael Pietrus also getting more minutes. Orlando Sentinel

ChosenOne
Atlanta puts a smacking on the Magic by over 15.
Cobb
We finally end Orlando's scoring streak of 11 straight with a little one of our own toward the end of the 1st quarter. Still down by 8 though.
ChosenOne
Damn the Magic have really shut me up tonight, JJ is playing well for them.

bigdog17k
We played really well tonight at both ends of the ball. JJ is becoming something for sure, I like him in the starting lineup more than VC at this point. I'm glad we knocked the slump off, we got a pretty hard trip coming up. Cobb
The Magic always seem to blow us out.
The Regime
Man was I wrong, Atlanta has consistency problems. No one could shot to save their lives today. Edited January 10, 2010 by Confidence
Cobb
The past few games Joe hasn't showed up and when he doesn't show up we don't do good unless Crawford goes off. Since he didn't go off, we got killed. This team needs to figure out what is going wrong and fix it fast. I'm getting sick and tired of watching this inconsistent team night in and night out.
