NetscCourtside
There is a lot of work that needs to be done with our team. The offense needs to flow better. Brook needs to over come tough defenders. We need to buy in Avery's defense. That man is a very good defensive coach. Our offense seemed like there was no structure. I know it was only a preseason game, but it was a good reality check and the players need to understand that hardwork is the only thing that is going to validate how good they are not a new arena or new city. ChosenOne
I ended up watching the first quarter of this game before work last night and boy was it bad for the Nets. I believe they started the game off with 3 straight turnovers for points, and then continued to make the Celtics defense look great (what this preseason has been a bad defense). Was a bit disappointing to watch.
Guru
At the end of the day I think this game did more good than harm. We needed a reality check after the 3-0 start to the preseason. The Celtics were clearly pissed that we beat them with our backups on Monday so they came out and gave it to us. We looked lazy for the majority of the game. The only bright spots from yesterday were Andray Blatche and that 10-0 run we went on in the 3rd. Other than that our ball movement sucked, nobody was rotating on D, just a terrible game overall.
