I was apart of the Xbox LIVE Public Preview program and was provided a copy of Halo: Reach as part of my participation. The disc later became unplayable because of some Halo: Reach Title Update back in September of last year so they provided me with a code for the Games on Demand version of the game. Like Nashty said I don't like how it wasn't made by bungie but I think i've heard that a lot of the guys from the bungie team were part of the development of this game too. I hated ODST and I never really got into Reach, but Halo 1, 2 and 3 were my childhood. Does anyone no what the special thing is you get for pre-ordering? Looking at the trailers and commercials it looks kinda shitty but I'm still going to buy it regardless. Good thing too because Bungie is pretty much garbage now. I hope Halo 4 is solid though. FWIW 343 took over Reach a few years back (and made the no bloom patch, etc) and I think they also made the anniversary edition. Never really been a big fan of vehicles, but at least there are a lot of new weapons to combat them. Halo 4 is the most expensive game Microsoft has ever made, Microsoft Studios head Phil Spencer tells Polygon. It is "absolutely" the most money Microsoft has ever spent developing a game, he says. "Nothing's even close."Estimates for development costs of Halo 3 average out at $60 million, and that was including a massive marketing budget of about $30 million. Halo 3: ODST ended up bringing in more than $170 million in its first 24 hours on the market. Overall, Halo is a $3 billion franchise, Spencer says. Hopefully it does turn out to be a great game. According to VGChartz, it has pre-orders and counting. Would hate to see three years of development end up turning into a flop. For those who pre-ordered it at GameStop, they're allowing people to vote which bonus exclusives people will get. Voting for the third bonus item is going on right now.
