The Republican party used to not always mean knuckle heads like Romny, Ryan, Todd Aiken, and Richard Mourdock. It used to mean moderates. Guys like Powell, and someone like Arlen Specter, they 'got' it. Working for ridiculously low wages, like Lkr said. Shoveling horse manure on a farm...or picking crops...That's not a huge hinderance on our economy. I do agree we have to secure our borders and give citizens a pathway to legal citizenship. That's obvious, because it's a threat to our national security more importantly than anything else. But, with that considered (and everything else I've ever said), I absolutely hate illegal immigration. However, it would be nice if they could make the process MUCH easier. There's no point in trying to become a citizen if you're put through a shitty process that takes forever, and you've got kids that need food.
