Sħãlïq™
Could Jerry Sloan be the head coach of the Lakers by December 1st? http://i45.tinypic.com/swv7nn.jpgAlex Kennedy, an NBA writer for Hoops World, recently gave his views on the coaching situation with the Los Angeles Lakers. The Lakers finally got their first win on Sunday evening after dropping all their preseason games and the first three games of the regular season. The losing aspect made Laker fans really irritated and are pleading for the firing of head coach Mike Brown. For one thing, he is implementing an offense that he, himself, probably does not understand. He had to hire former player and coach Eddie Jordan to implement the Princeton Offense. For Mike Brown, any losses that come from now until the end of November could mean his future: Jerry Sloan to L.A. by December 1. Nash and Howard are the new Stockton and Malone. He wants a ring, not to mention the money. He didn’t seriously consider Orlando, Charlote or Portland over the summer because he knew Los Angeles would open up. This may just be a source, but these ”rumors” just do not float around like that. With Jerry Sloan waiting to step in, Mike Brown better hurry up and get the “W” column going this month or he will be unemployed come December 1st.Source
