The Regime
CHARLOTTE, N.C. -- The Charlotte Bobcats say they have acquired forward Hakim Warrick from the New Orleans Hornets for guard Matt Carroll. In 499 games over eight NBA seasons with five teams, the 6-foot-9 Warrick has averaged 9.5 points, 4.1 rebounds and a .494 field goal percentage. Bobcats president of basketball operations Rod Higgins says Tuesday, "We are very excited to add a player of Hakim's ability and overall NBA experience. His athleticism allows him to play multiple positions, which will make for a smooth transition into our current roster and style of play under coach Mike Dunlap." Warrick played in only one game this season after being acquired by the Hornets in July. Carroll hasn't been in Charlotte's rotation. http://espn.go.com/nba/story/_/id/8628440/charlotte-bobcats-trade-matt-carroll-new-orleans-hornets-hakim-warrick

Smitty
Blockbuster. This just changed the basketball landscape entirely.
Check my Stats
What are the Bobcats doing... Warrick has 2 years at 4M left. I always liked him tho, not worth more than the minimum obviously, but hes a big who is mobile and is somewhat athletic.
The Regime
Warrick is a slightly more athletic version of Tyrus Thomas. Not sure what direction the Bobcats are headed with this trade.
