Cleveland's Finest
Eh....nervous about this one. Utah's a great home team.
Redneck
Utah use to be a good home team, but they've been terrible this year. Still better than on the road though. Though they have been playing better this week than they have all season, but this will still likely be a loss. They can't guard a closed door and James will shoot 35 free throws. Owner Real Deal Posted January 14, 2010 Owner Report Share Posted January 14, 2010 I don't see why Cleveland just doesn't pound the ball inside early, have LeBron lay off for a while and help defend Deron's penetrations (because he's more likely able to destroy Cleveland better than anyone else), then take over in the second and fourth quarters, when Shaq is most likely sitting in foul trouble. Jenneral
I think it'll be close early on but come the second half, Cleveland will show why it's said to be one of the best team's in the league. Cleveland wins by double digits.
The Regime
Shaq/Big Z are going to struggle with Okur. He is the x-factor for this game imo.
Cleveland's Finest
Yeah this will probably be one of those games where Andy's playing center for the key parts of the game and LeBron's a PF with Mo, Delonte, and AP at the wing. Jawad should get more playing time too, and he deserves it because he's been nailing most of the wide looks he's gotten. Almost game time....hopefully they have the mindset that if they can win in Utah and then in LAC and finish off the final "big" road trip of the year on a good note and get some momentum heading into the Lakers game. The Regime
Deron is struggling, his matchup with Mo clearly is in his favor.

The Regime
I've lost track of how many open shots the Jazz have missed this quarter, they are lucky Cleveland is playing sloppy.

Lemon
Sick crossover by D Will. But I don't see Utah getting past Cleveland. THey just play too well together as a team.
Cleveland's Finest
Delonte is putting on a show....3 three pointers and he is also getting to the line. Great start so far.....haven't let them taken the lead for awhile.

Built Ford Tough
It is such a pleasure watching players like LeBron, Kobe, Wade, Melo etc... simply take over in the 4th quarter and carry their team to victory. Watching elite players when they are in the zone is just a thing of beauty, regardless of what team you are a fan of. This performance from LeBron in the last 5 minutes or so is just something special. He has put the Cavs on his back and absoltuely carried them. After the Jazz went on a 18-2 run or whatever it was, something just clicked for LeBron. He has scored 16 of the last 18 Cavs points, including back to back clutch 3's, to spark an 18-2 run for the Cavs and has gotten them a 4 point lead. Whether you love or hate LeBron James, you simply can't help but be in awe of performances like this. There is something about watching elite players take over games down the stretch that you can't help but love to watch. Awesome clutch basketball from LeBron. Lemon
Heartbreaker for the Jazz. Lebron just had some excellent play down the 4th. 20 points the last 4 mins or something? something like that lol
Built Ford Tough
Heartbreaker for the Jazz. Lebron just had some excellent play down the 4th. 20 points the last 4 mins or something? something like that lol Games far from over. 1 point lead for the Cavs with 5 seconds left. That was a hell of a shot by Korver though. Shot that over the backboard and got the kind roll to cut the Cavs lead to only a single point. Built Ford Tough
What a chess match right here. Jerry Sloan is arguably the best in the NBA (perhaps all-time) at drawing up plays out of timeouts, going up against arguably the best defense in the NBA. EDIT: What a shot by Sundiata Gaines. Talk about ice running through your veins. Practices once with the team, comes in in the 4th quarter and sparks a huge run. Then he hits a buzzer beating 3 pointer to win the game against the best team in the Eastern Conference. You couldn't write anything better than that. Just an awesome performance by Gaines. Plays 9 minutes, scores 9 points on 3/3 shooting including the buzzer beating 3 to win the game. Amazing.
