Lkr
Tim Tebow took that Broncos team to the playoffs last year. Without Peterson, that's a 4 win Vikings team. That simple.they were a 3 win team with him and harvin last year
NomarFachix
they were a 3 win team with him and harvin last yearAnd he had less than half the yards he had this year, suffered an injury, and worked his ass off to improve and carry the team on his back this season. JYD
I was taking Manning up until about a week ago. Then I watched the Vikes and realize AP is even more valuable than Manning is. So, Peterson.
Make It Naaaashty
Now does Manning win comeback player of the year if AP gets MVP? Or can AP win both?
NomarFachix
He can win both, but I doubt he does. Manning came back from a more career threatening injury.
NomarFachix
J.J. Watt - DL - Texans NEWS: Texans DC Wade Phillips insists DL J.J. Watt's 2012 season was the "absolute best" of any defensive lineman in NFL history. ANALYSIS: Phillips has been a defensive line coach, coordinator, or head coach in the NFL since 1976. He will get no argument from us. In addition to his league-lead 20.5 sacks, Watt also obliterated the unofficial records for batted passes (16) and "defeats" in the run game (56). He also led the league in tackles for loss (22), had 76 QB disruptions, and posted a defensive stop on 17.2 percent of his snaps. Watt became the first player to earn a grade of +100.0 in Pro Football Focus' ratings. As dominant as Von Miller and Geno Atkins were in 2012, Watt is the easy choice for defensive player of the year.
NomarFachix
Watt having the best DL season in history (as an interior lineman!!), Peterson the 2nd best by a RB, and yet, Manning will still get votes. Boo.

Boo.Tough to win MVP as a d-linemen simply because the position is not as valuable as QB. Manning had one of the best seasons ever for a 36 yr old QB coming off neck surgery lol
NomarFachix
See? Manning has a story. That's all. Nothing spectacular about his season from a QB #'s standpoint. Thanks for helping me show it! But best DL season ever takes presidence over run of the mill good QB season, shouldn't it?

CaliCurbStomppa
Very surprised that AP won it. Honestly was expecting Peyton to take home the award. I think he will win the comeback player of the year for sure.

I think he will win the comeback player of the year for sure. I think with Manning not making it to the Superbowl hurt him. Very glad that AP won MVP though very much deservd it.
