EastCoastNiner
U mad Canadians? Your time is OVER. You are FINISHED as the worlds top hockey country. Reality is starting to sink in for these Canadians. People saying that the CHL shouldn't allow foreigners to play in their league anymore. It's happening, and it's happening fast Canada. You will no longer be the the top hockey country in the world. The U.S. and Russia will be tappin dat ass for years to come. Hell, goldilocks and the Swedes will be doing the same. The denial will be strong, and rightfully so, but the reality is so much stronger........ USA! USA! USA!

DunkinDerozan
www.youtube.com/watch?v=4yeiWaXkJSo I'll take this over the world juniors any day. Canada is still #1. Our only problem was we didn't have the coaching/goaltending to get it done. I guarantee team Canada's world junior team has more NHLers on it than team USA. Edit: I'm on my iPad so the video link isn't working, but if you really want to, you can look up the golden goal for yourself Edited January 5, 2013 by DunkinDerozan
Check my Stats
Hey, honestly it makes me happy to see the USA do well. For one, I'm not even a huge fan of the juniors and I'm not going to pretend I care about it this year like everyone else just because of the lockout (hello... all these kids have been playing for the past 3 months, don't act like there hasn't been hockey, smh). A small, very small part of me would have been okay with the states winning the Olympics too. Honestly my dream is for hockey to one day be in the same breath as the other 3 sports. Check my Stats
Also, to use the olympic/junior teams as the sample for producing best talent is ridiculous. Canada still produces way more quality players than any other country.

Built Ford Tough
Wasn't it you who used to always argue with Universe about how this tournament is meaningless and is laughable when he would bring it up as an accomplishment on a player's resumé? Pretty convinent change of heart you have in regards to this tournament now. Where was this thread last year when the Americans finished 7th? Like CmS said, using a two week tournament as the basis for who is the best hockey nation is pretty ridiculous.

Built Ford Tough
As if you weren't serious when you made this thread. You've been talking for years now about how it is only a matter of time until the USA surprasses Canada at hockey, so forgive me for not believing that this was a "troll thread".
