Built Ford Tough Posted January 6, 2013 Report Share Posted January 6, 2013 Kevin Love has refractured the third metacarpal in his right hand and will be examined in New York City later this week, the Minnesota Timberwolves announced on Saturday. Love suffered the refracture in Thursday's 101-97 win over the Denver Nuggets. Love missed the first nine games of the season due to the fracture of his third and fourth metacarpal before returning earlier than expected on Nov. 21 against the Nuggets. Love is averaging 18.3 points and 14 rebounds this season. http://basketball.realgm.com/wiretap/225420/Love_Refractures_Right_Hand I haven't really watched many T'Wolves games since Love returned, but I did read on Twitter last night (when I first saw that he refractured his hand) that there was talk about him possibly coming back too soon, although Love himself denied that was the case. This is good for LA, though, since they do have a better record than we do (smh), but at the same time, I was kind of hoping there would be a way for us to land him in a trade. Unfortunately for this hard-luck franchise, they know what it feels like to play without their All-Star and Olympian.
