The Regime
Saw this on ESPN this morning. Thought it was pretty interesting. If I can remember correctly the rankings that they ended up with were (1) Andrew Luck, (2) Russell Wilson, (3) Colin Kaepernick, (4) Robert Griffin, (5) Cam Newton. Lkr
I don't understand why Kaep is being so overrated. He is a great player, don't get me wrong, but I don't see him as a better option than a healthy bob griffin

NomarFachix
I would take Cam over all of them lol
DunkinDerozan
Andrew Luck. I'd take Grif but he's too high of a risk. I don't know how Wilson and Kaepernick are ahead of RG3 though. My whole list would be: 1. Luck2. RG III3. Newton4. Wilson5. Kaepernick The only one I had to think about was if I'd rather Wislon or Kaepernick. The top 3 are pretty obvious for me. JYD
My list: 1. Luck2. Wilson3. RG3 That's my top three in that order - I think Luck is going to be the most consistent, going to injured the least, and is the smartest of the three. I think you have your best chance to win long term with Luck. Wilson looked great this year, way better than expectations, and I love his game too...my only problem with him is he does get out of the pocket a bit more than Luck so it could lead to future injuries...otherwise the guy is pretty much terrific and I really can't knock him at all RG3 is awesome, fun to watch, everything you want in a top draft pick. My only problem is he's going to get hurt. and frequently. unless he completely amends the way he plays, I seriously doubt he'll play a complete 16 game season, and for me, I can't take a guy over the other two when I know his playing style is likely to end up getting him injured...not at the qb position. Owner Real Deal Posted January 22, 2013 Owner Report Share Posted January 22, 2013 Luck and Newton are my top two choices. As much as I like Griffin (one of my favorite QB's in the NFL right now), if we're looking long-term, his knee and overall health scares me a bit. Plus, when it comes down to QB's, I'll always take a Manning and Brady over a Cunningham, McNair and Vick.

Cam's one of my favorite NFL players, but I think it'd be crazy not to think that Wilson is better (and would be far more valuable when it comes to maturity, leadership, poise, etc.)

Cam's one of my favorite NFL players, but I think it'd be crazy not to think that Wilson is better (and would be far more valuable when it comes to maturity, leadership, poise, etc.) Judging them both based off their rookie years, I'd have to say Newton is the better player. I know Newton declined a bit this year, but who is to say Wilson isn't going to decline more too. I think you gotta take Newton over Wilson IMO.
