Dash
Its official: Daryl Morey is a [expletive]ing god. Turn our average-mediocre assets into a top 5 pick we actually wanted to draft in just his rookie year.
Dash
Adrian Wojnarowski @WojYahooNBAAlong with a second-round pick, the Kings will send Francisco Garcia and Tyler Honeycutt to the Rockets, sources tell Y! Marcus Morris goes to Phoenix. Didn't need Marcus anyways and it opens up some playing time for Donatas Motiejunas.

ChosenOne
Hopefully Cousins ignorance is easy to take off him also. He has made a few bonehead plays.
Dash
According to Feigan we're keeping Robinson and that there is a 2nd deal out there NOT involving T-Rob. Needless to say Daryl sounds pretty high on him. Robinson didn't get much of chance in Sacramento so we'll see if he can be a productive starter now that starting PF is all but lined up for him. Owner Real Deal Posted February 21, 2013 Owner Report Share Posted February 21, 2013 I'm not sure what Robinson would have been involved in AFTER being dealt, since you wouldn't be able to deal him again, in another multi-player trade, until the season is over with. Dash
He could be flipped if its just by himself. Robinson makes $3-$4 million + Houston has about $5 million in cap room left. Glad we're keeping him though because I can't think of a trade that would make sense for us.
Owner Real Deal Posted February 21, 2013 Owner Report Share Posted February 21, 2013 He could be flipped if its just by himself.Right. since you wouldn't be able to deal him again, in another multi-player trade, until the season is over with.My point was, I'm not sure why you'd deal him again...and who you would deal him for (single player)...after you traded away a couple of forwards already. Dash
Lol I'm going to pin that on 4 hours of sleep in a 2.5 day span. I've seen people mention Milsap or Smith (not sure how caps would work out for Josh), which actually got me thinking about this move potentially killing a free agent signing of either player. If you have a top 5 pick that showing promise in his rookie year then there is very little need to make a desperation signing of someone who plays the same position. Houston can preserve their cap room for another season and if Robinson continues to play well then suddenly you're in position to offer a team instant cap relief and a blue chip prospect if another star were to become available. Now its a completely different scenario if Robinson comes in and is just average or disappointing but regardless the odds of a Paul Milsap/Josh Smith signing in the summer significantly went down tonight. Owner Real Deal Posted February 21, 2013 Owner Report Share Posted February 21, 2013 Honestly, I'm just interested in seeing if Houston will give T-Rob a chance in the five, right off the bat. I know they'll consider Delfino in the five if they don't want to, and Parsons playing up a position, but I'd love to see McHale just throw him out there and believe in him. But, I need the Rockets to lose games, also...unless the Warriors or Jazz feel it's best if they relinquish that playoff spot to the Lakers, lol. Dash
Asik and Robinson would be ridiculous on the glass and T-Rob would be able to run the floor with Harden and Lin too? It wouldn't happen off the bat though, Motiejunas and Jones have been waiting for an opportunity all season long and will get looks in the starting lineup before Robinson would. That is, unless he blows them away in practice making it impossible to not start him. Houston certainly does look worse in the short term losing their starting PF and 2nd player off the bench (after Delfino) so that is some good news for your Lakers lol.
