JR is a horrible contract, Shump/pick is nice pickup but have to see what that pick turns into by the trade deadline. Great value for OKC but not a big fan of Waiters. Ranks 192nd in points per play allowed of 201 players to defend 200+ plays this year. And we already know about his offensive limitations. Maybe a change of scenery turns things around for him. We've seen Rondo and Brewer up their defensive game by getting off tanking teams this season. Plays hesitant now on both ends, lateral speed isn't there on defense. I do hope he gets there, one of my favorites recently. He started the year hot before another injury. Maybe he swings it around.
