I can't imagine how bad the Rangers would be without him. Oh god he was incredible. That one save he made on JVR in the 3rd was the difference in the game. Phightins Posted April 10, 2010 Report Share Posted April 10, 2010 (edited) I actually disagree. The Flyers played OK tonight but mostly have been absolutely horrible the past few weeks. Brian Boucher has been bad, but the roster from top to bottom has been worse. Goalie problems or not I find this roster to be incredibly flawed and I think that regardless of if they miss the playoffs, the team needs to be semi-blown up. fly3rs18 Posted April 11, 2010 Author Report Share Posted April 11, 2010 CLAUDE GIROUX I LOVE YOU! amazing game, flyers dominated majority of it but just didnt get the bounces early on. briere, giroux, and boucher came through huge in the shootout though i was watching with my friend who is a rangers fan, and through the end of the game and overtime he was just saying how he wanted a shootout because of lundqvist. and i said that the goalie doesnt matter too much when you have guys like giroux shooting. One series has none, and that would be Flyers-Devils. A bit strange, but hey I'm not complaining. Don't have to deal with the national TV buffoons for the entire round. The Devils got the Flyers pinned into their own end with those 2 on the ice...and well, I saw that Zubrus goal coming a mile away. Lukas Krajicek better be back in the lineup for game 3 instead of one of those 2. Also it seems like Scott Hartnell has lost all hockey competence. He has seriously been god-awful. Braydon Coburn stepped up and had a very strong game. Mike Richards and Claude Giroux are playing IMO the best hockey of their career. Holy [expletive] what a win.
