The Goods
I feel bad for Yao. He is a class act but these injuries always seem to keep him out.
Carmelamare
Damaged goods, when will the rockets receive a break.

The Regime
WOW, that sucks. I didnt think that injury was that severe when it happened, but I guess I was wrong. Hopefully Yao can rehab and return; I feel for him and Rockets fans.

OldChili
I feel bad for Yao. He is a class act but these injuries always seem to keep him out.Seriously, it's such a shame.
Warren2ThaG
That sux 4 Yao, trade TMac now for a big like Kaman or Amare. Or until he raises his value if he does but i'd trade him soon.
Stuckey3
This part crossed my eyes the most Does Yao Ming ever play again?Wow. This could be worse than people have thought.
Diesel
Sam Bowie Jr. Cmon now Yao has been an all-star center for years now(and rightfully so). This is terrible news if it's true though and a huge loss for the league. Maybe that's why Houston was so eager to try and nab Rubio. Cobb
Really blows for the Rockets. Ever since Yao entered the league I've always been a fan. Hope he doesn't have to end his career.
Smoke
Where is Slaven? But man I feel bad for Yao because he is a solid player and a class act.
A.K.
I was just joking. Pretty crazy though. The article basically says he'll miss AT LEAST this season. Sounds possibly career ending.
The Artesticle
That sucks. I feel bad for Yao, he doesn't deserve it. But it's karma, unfortunate because he did no wrong. This is what happens (Slaven), when you wish for somebody to take out Kobe's knees and injure him in the playoffs. Lakers win the championship, Rockets are pretty much done. I could care less for the Rockets, or their fans. Just feel bad for Yao. He deserves none of this. Hopefully he takes time to recover, his body was never meant to be made to play as much basketball he put himself through. Best of luck to Yao. Rockets are screwed. Smitty
Rockets HAVE to go for Amare now imo. It's a shame, though...
ChosenOne
He will good to go the start of the up coming season, it is going to be a long [expletive] summer.
KurbyFX
Sam Bowie Jr. You're a joke.
AboveLegit
You had to know this would happen with the requirements China put on him in his career to play for their national team. No one that size can go so many seasons playing an NBA schedule and for a countries national squad. It was inevitable and I'm surprised he lasted this long without serious long term problems. JWaLL
Poor Yao, I hope he can bounce back soon. Injuries to a man of that size take forever to heal.
Legacy
This sucks. He was a hard working player and I really wanted to see him succeed in wins in his career, but he has never gone far in the playoffs. I guess foot problems are common for people that are this big. Flight
Surprise surprise. Poor Yao, the guy has been nothing but a class act and never has gotten to play a full season. If he didn't have injury trouble he might even have an MVP award to be honest.
KurbyFX
Sucks, he took the Rockets out of the 2nd round.. now he might not even play anymore.
kingfish
Danggg that sucks. Officially cross the Rockets off the list of contenders.
Flight
Not so fast kingfish, if they can just get in the playoffs with a 5 or 6 seed they'll make some noise with him back if he's healed. You saw what they did with LA in the postseason without Yao.
