They both said that SVG was more than likely a difficult coach for the younger players, because he has that old school mentality. He probably demanded a lot from guys like Zion, Ingram, Ball and Hart, and you just can't expect them to act like veterans these days. Plus, the game itself is a lot different now, and I doubt Van Gundy is now coaching an offense like D'Antoni would. He wouldn't change his ways.
