Built Ford Tough
I'm too tired to argue about Chalmers and the Raptors defense. Let's just say the second quarter slump is something we normally see when Chalmers is running the point. There is nothing to argue about if you Heat fans would've actually gave credit for their vastly improved play rather than dismiss it because your whipping boy was in the game. PS: I call this the Hedo Turkoglu effect. Turk comes back into the game and Jermaine O'Neal goes off, even though Turkoglu isn't guarding him, it is still his fault. Flash
Great half for Dwyane and JO. What a difference with Rafer running the show rather than Mario the Terrible in there.

I'm talking about what is a direct affect of Chalmers. The fact that the ball wasn't moving and getting in the right hands. There is a reason why Chalmers was pulled so quickly. I'm not arguing any further.

The Raptors suck at defense. This is a known fact except Chalmers makes them look awesome when he's in the game. It also helps that Beasley was injured so he couldn't go out and make them look terrible as usual.
otr-sky
No only have the Raptors have won 9 of their last 10 at home, and are coming off a huge win against the Lakers, they will also want revenge against the Heat, and have had 2 solid practices to prepare for them. I expect D Wade to have a HUGE game tonight but I also think it’s going to be a real tough game to get up there.

I'm sorry, you are right. It has nothing to do with the Raptors and everything to do with Chalmers. The Heat are such a ridiculously superior team than the Raptors that they decided to put Chalmers into the game just to give the Raptors a chance. I mean its not like the Raptors are a half game back in the standings and have already beat the Heat once this season. Or is that because of Chalmers too? Homers. I know that I can be a homer as well, but at least I give the other team credit where it is due, not just blame it on my teams whipping boy. JO as usual is absent in the second half too. Its a shame Beasley got hurt /:

Check my Stats
Wow at Bosh, wish he finished that. Am I the only one who feels like this is Raps vs Wade?
Flash
Reason #1 why I hate Spoelstra. His mismanagement of certain players minutes. Did you just see what should be the top play on sportscenter? Dorrell Wright needs more minutes. I don't know how much more obvious it could get. Built Ford Tough
Wow at Bosh, wish he finished that. Am I the only one who feels like this is Raps vs Wade? O'Neal played really well in the first half. He was giving them great production down low and was absolutely torching Bargnani. He has been MIA (no pun intended) since then though. Wright has given the Heat a nice lift off of the bench. Hit a huge three at the end of the 3rd and has really used his length well. Him and Wade always seem to work well with each other and Wade does a good job of getting him good looks, at least from the games that I have watched. Haslem has been pretty disapointing in this game (well, disapointing for Heat fans). He hasn't played good defense at all and his normally rock solid mid range jumper has been off tonight. I wouldn't say it is Wade vs. Raptors, but Wade definitely has not received the help that you would hope for if you are pulling for the Heat. Built Ford Tough
Belinelli is showing Calderon how to pass. What a sick pass to Amir there. I didn't realize that Bosh had so many boards. What is he at right now, 17? Calderon with two bad passes in a row. I like the aggressiveness he is playing with, but he needs to reel himself in a bit more. BasX
Timeout Raps, 3 point game, Raptors need to settle down. Bring in the Starters with Wright (defense) in for Weems.

Check my Stats
Wish we stop pushing it and just eat some clock. Ffel bad for Wade, dude went to war tonight and is pouring buckets, just has no help. At leat not consistently.
Poe
I wouldn't say it is Wade vs. Raptors, but Wade definitely has not received the help that you would hope for if you are pulling for the Heat.It felt that way during the game against the Cavs. It's not like the Heat don't have other options, it's just inconsistency. Beasley is young and his game comes and goes, O'Neal is old and the same story. Dorell is up and down depending on his involvement. The rest are just specialists and role players. BTW, Toronto has played pretty good D this second half. Their D isn't spectacular, but they've played with more "heart". Outrebounding and getting more 50/50 balls. Very disappointing at my end. Built Ford Tough
Has Bosh ever had a 20/20 game in his career? I don't recall one off of the top of my head. He is flirting with it tonight with 22/18. It felt that way during the game against the Cavs. It's not like the Heat don't have other options, it's just inconsistency. Beasley is young and his game comes and goes, O'Neal is old and the same story. Dorell is up and down depending on his involvement. The rest are just specialists and role players. Losing Beasley hurt the Heat big time in this game. He is a bad matchup for whichever Raptors big is guarding him, whether it is Bosh or Bargnani. His shooting touch and ability to create off of the bounce creates problems for the Raptors bigs. Losing B-Easy definitely had an impact on this game. I get the feeling that Wade is going to put the Heat on his back and carry them to a victory here. With the Raptors lackluster defense, it always scares me to see them play in close games against superstar players. Flash
What, truth hurt? SMH... Back to the game. We're really giving this away. Wade and JO have not been nearly as good in the second half and Rafer is really struggling tonight. I'm in shock that Spo hasn't used Arroyo. Even though I shouldn't be because I'm used to him by now. Bosh is looking good in his audition tonight. I'm sure Riles likes what he sees lol.
