Vitasoy
Good close to the half by L.A.
The Regime
Really poor defensive half. We gave up too many open shots in transition, and both Nene and Anderson are having their way in the paint. Pau and Bynum need to play more aggresive next half, and limit the scoring in the paint. The Nuggets are bound to get cold sometime next half, we just need to contest every shot (easier said than done). I dont think Kobe has the mobility to stay up with Billups, so unfortunate for us Farmar and Fish will guard Billups for the remainder of the game. Artest needs to lockdown JR next half, the Nuggets can only make a push if he scores. Offensively Kobe played a great first half, he cant beat people off the dribble but he is drilling almost every jumpshot. Pau played like a puss pretty much the entire half, he is lucky he got some easy putbacks, either way points are points. Fish was garbage, Phil should consider playing Brown at point if Kobe can play most of the second half without pain/fatigue. We need to open up the third on a run. Hopefully we can rest the starters for tomorrow's game.
ChosenOne
Have the Lakers not heard that Billups is in the 3 point contest? If not someone should tell them real soon because he has 5 of them now.

ChosenOne
That was a great way for the Nuggets to close out the quater. I have a feeling that Kobe might be on Billups for the rest of the game.
The Regime
We play good defense and yet the Nuggets light us up from downtown. I still have a feeling the Nuggets will hit a shooting drought sometime this quarter. Thank god Phil is starting Kobe this quarter.
ChosenOne
Bynum's new nickname is the Black Hole, because once you give him the ball he is going to shoot no matter what. Edited February 6, 2010 by ChosenOne
YugoRocketsFan
Bynum's new nickname is the Black Hole, because once you give him the ball he is going to shoot no matter what. And how does that relate to a black hole?
ChosenOne
And how does that relate to a black hole? Once you go inside a black hole you can never get out. So when he gets the ball it is not coming back out to anyone else. Edited February 6, 2010 by ChosenOne

Cleveland's Finest
Nuggets were under .500 on the road which is why I'm literally in shock as if no Melo wasn't enough. Lakers have lost some big home games.

ChosenOne
lol Vujacic is finally getting playing time and is broke as hell, 0-5 from deep many of them being wide open shots. Edited February 6, 2010 by ChosenOne
ChosenOne
Nene is gone, now lets hope the Lakers can get some easy baskets. lol the announcer says that Vujacic in on the floor for no reason both Fisher and Farmar should be playing instead.
