The Goods
Ricky Rubio remains confused about where he will be playing this season. "I have more uncertainty about my future now than before the draft; every minute I'm in a different place," Rubio told the El Periodico newspaper of Barcelona in Monday's edition. Rubio and his father were to quietly fly to Minneapolis last Saturday for conversations with Wolves president of basketball operations David Kahn. "It's like being in a bag and not knowing what is going up or down," Rubio said. "For now, I think I may return to the ACB, but we'll see." http://www.realgm.com/src_wiretap_archives/60168/20090629/rubio_says_hes_leaning_towards_remaining_in_spain/
Warren2ThaG
Whatever man, just play in the NBA and try and make your team that picked you better .

Lone Wolf
I'm pretty sure the Jonny Flynn pick made Rubio lost. He nor anyone else besides Kahn doesn't know why 2 pgs were picked. Kahn better have a good explanation..
Doc
He should stay in Euro and play. I hate players who moan and complain about getting picked by a team. People would die getting picked by anyone. Suck it up, andleave after your 3rd year.
kadillak
I'm pretty sure the Jonny Flynn pick made Rubio lost. He nor anyone else besides Kahn doesn't know why 2 pgs were picked. Kahn better have a good explanation..I think quite a few people know why they picked Flynn right behind him, actually. It was a very smart business pick for exactly this situation with Rubio. Kahn knew he was going to have a difficult time from the get-go trying to persuade Rubio to play in Minnesota, and he knew it'd be almost an impossible challenge without a back-up point guard plan in place as it would give Rubio's party a ton of leverage. If Minnesota had not drafted Flynn after dealing Foye, Rubio's agent could say "Deal Rubio for another PG or we are headed back to Spain and you're all alone with Sebastian Telfair at the point on your depth chart". Since Minnesota picked Flynn, the team has the leverage in that they could say "That's fine, you can return to Europe and play two or three seasons over there to mature your game, and we'll just rely on Flynn to run the show for the time being". That's a big difference in negotiating power.
Lone Wolf
I've thought that too, but it comes to show that we picked a player we cannot rely on.
Klashnekoff
Wow i hate this guy now. People die for a chance in the NBA and this kid is unsure? .. What a moron. I wouldn't have picked him anyway if i was the Wolves, i would have gone with Flynn and Curry.
