The Regime
I dont think Kobe plays. With that said, if we win this game that will speak volumes about our team.
BeeZee
I want Kobe/Bynum to sit out. The Jazz will be on the 2nd of a back-to-back so we have a good chance at winning either way, I think.
Kobe24
I want kobe to sit out and then play like first 5 minutes of allstar game just to play and thats it. What could happen in 5 minutes.. lol
bigdog17k
Utah has been playing well, this will be a good test for the Lakers.
ChosenOne
Kobe remains a game-time decision for Wed.  Kobe Bryant (ankle) remains a game-time decision for Wednesday's game against the Jazz. The Lakers would prefer that Kobe rests tomorrow and sits out the All-Star game, but we'll see what Kobe has to say about that. If he thinks he can be effective, he'll play. We should have a better idea of what Kobe will do after Wednesday's shootaround.  Twitter

BeeZee
Great seeing the Lakers playing like this tonight. Great effort so far from everyone. We just need to maintain the effort for 18 more minutes.
bigdog17k
This is insane what the Lakers are doing without Kobe, in a good way.
Warren2ThaG
I already put 41 wins in my sig... If we lose, you know who to come to.
Cleveland's Finest
These West teams are just terrible at home.....Blazers blown out by Thunder and Jazz at home, Nuggets blown out at home by Suns, Jazz at home by Lakers, Lakers at home by Dallas and Denver.....ahhh
Dash
I thought the Lakers were nothing with Kobe? With the way things are going, Kobe could opt for surgery and LA would be perfectly fine.
Owner Real Deal Posted February 11, 2010 Owner Report Share Posted February 11, 2010 I thought the Lakers were nothing with Kobe? With the way things are going, Kobe could opt for surgery and LA would be perfectly fine.In an 82-game season, I'm sure it would be much different, wear and tear due to increased roles. Everyone saw how good the Rockets were to start the year, as well as the Heat...and now look where both are after 50 games or so. Check my Stats
82 games or not this team is definitely making the playoffs with or without Kobe. I don't know how important home court is to the Lakers but Kobe should take his time and be as close to 100% as he possibly can when the playoffs role around. Brand New
Just a great victory. Pau Gasol has been amazing ever since Kobe has been out. Dude is beasting it.
Owner Real Deal Posted February 11, 2010 Owner Report Share Posted February 11, 2010 Just a great victory. Pau Gasol has been amazing ever since Kobe has been out. Dude is beasting it.Gasol has been that way all year, rebounding and giving us 15 points or so. The real guy stepping up BIG is Lamar Odom, and honestly, it's a big surprise for me. Dash
In an 82-game season, I'm sure it would be much different, wear and tear due to increased roles. Everyone saw how good the Rockets were to start the year, as well as the Heat...and now look where both are after 50 games or so. You're right, except we're not talking about 82 games. LA has only 28 games left on their schedule after tonight.  Rockets had a great, great stretch for 30-40 games before slowly falling out of the playoff mix. Portland has had their fair share of injuries as well but have managed to stay in the playoff picture. Why? Because unlike Houston, Portland has an all-star or two to fall back on in case of injuries. Ron Ron, Pau and Odom have proven these past three games that they are more than capable of holding down the fort till Kobe can return. Each of the three games have been won by double digits and all three teams are in the playoff picture.  Odom has been spectacular.  Lamar Odom@ Portland - 10 points (4-9), 22 rebounds and 6 assists a steal and block. Spurs - 16 points (6-13), 10 rebounds, 3 assists and a block and steal. @ Utah - 25 points (7-9), 11 rebounds, 3 steals and 2 blocks.  Utah and Portland are two of the toughest home courts in the entire league. Gasol has also had a few monster games and Ron Artest has held his own (struggled tonight offensively).  Bynum isn't even back yet...it is amazing that even without Kobe that the Lakers are still a scary team. Sun Tzu
Check out Pau's 19 board game, again. Odom has been great as well.
BeeZee
One of my favorite games all season. Way to head into the break kicking some [expletive].
Redneck
Jazz probably would have faired better had Kobe played. The Lakers size is what kills the Jazz every time.
