Cleveland's Finest
I'm guessing youre referring to the foul on Kobe. The announcers werent biased at all, Okur pushed off on Kobe it should have been an offensive foul. Even then, all they've talked about is how good the Lakers are. They think the Artest deal has been amazing....where have they been this season. In no way has he been what everyone was hyping him to be. Then they talk about how great the Laker players are and how they have them for years to come. All the meanwhile, the Jazz get no conversation. The same crew did the Cavs/Lakers Christmas game, and boy it was like a celebration of the Laker franchise. This is specifically from Van Gundy and Jackson. They just can't stop crediting the franchise. Edit- As I spreak they mention the Jazz. They say that if the Jazz want to advance a round in the playoffs, they should play Fesenko. Are you kidding me? The Jazz are on of the hottest teams, and you discredit them from one game and now question their ability to win a series? Have you been paying attention to this team lately? Obviously the Lakers will get more attention than other team, they're one of the most prestigous teams in all of sports. But to answer what you said, no, the announcers have not only been drooling all over the Lakers. As for the game, Odom is taking over. Scoring, passing, rebounding, he is doing it all in the 4th. Sun Tzu
Guess this means the Suns take 3rd place right?
kingfish
Mike Breen is definitely a laker hater. I remember last game against the Magic on ABC he was hating real hard. However Mark Jackson definitely likes the Lakers, Van Gundy I think is neutral. And CF stop getting upset that they credit our franchise. If they had anything to credit your franchise im sure they would do so as wel. Edited April 3, 2010 by kingfish
ChosenOne
This has been a great night for Odom, and Gasol...can really say the same for Kobe.

The Regime
Pau was player of the game but Lamar came up big in the fourth and was the catalyst of our run late in the game. Next up Spurs. Edited April 3, 2010 by Confidence
ChosenOne
Highlight of the game was when the announcer said, " now we have a Sasha Vujacic sighting." It was perfectly timed. Edited April 3, 2010 by ChosenOne

Yeah they were excited for whatever reason. Sasha almost had a couple highlight plays. Edited April 3, 2010 by Confidence
Owner Real Deal Posted April 3, 2010 Owner Report Share Posted April 3, 2010 Kobe and Ron were very good for us on defense, but Gasol and Odom were amazing the entire game, both sides of the ball.

The Jazz are on of the hottest teams, and you discredit them from one game and now question their ability to win a series? Have you been paying attention to this team lately? The last two games the ABC crew did came when they neutralized the Spurs last week, and this Jazz game. The way the Spurs game ended and the Jazz game began is the Lakers' apex. And when they play like that, only the best of the best can stop them. We'll probably see that version of the Lakers at least three or four games every playoff series they play. Remember, Utah really struggles against LA's quickness and length when the Jazz try to run their flex and 1-4 junk. Most of the fouls and judgment calls seemed to be even. Okur pushed off and it was called a defensive foul, Millsap didn't push off and was called for a foul, Williams had all-ball on Fisher and was called for a foul, Williams shoulder bumped Artest and Artest was called for a foul, etc. What other Laker crediting was there? Kobe's place in the illustrious franchise. After signing his contract, of course he was going to be mentioned, and Lakers greats were going to be mentioned, and the franchise was going to be hyped up because the Lakers franchise has been one of the most glorious ones in professional sports. Van Gundy drooled over Deron Williams' passing the entire night. He also praised Utah assistant Phil Johnson, John Stockton, and always praises Utah's discipline. However, the Lakers were blowing out the Jazz, are still clear, clear favorites to win the West, and Utah still isn't a title contender. When the Lakers and Celtics are brought up, the franchise (franchises, not teams) will be hyped up. Same with the Yankees in baseball, Cowboys in football, etc. Utah still has work to do to be on LA's level when the Lakers actually decide to care.
