Cleveland @ Boston

Wouldn't be surprised if we lost. The odds of the Celtics losing 4 home games in a row? Plus, Verajao was key last game, and he's out again so we lose more activity down low. Hopefully Sheed shoots threes and Allen is cold again. Big game. A win here clinches everything so LeBron and Mo get a week's rest.

8-15 from the line.

It was 52-47, then the Celtics go on a 12 to 2 run to end the quarter. That's the story of the game right there.

We are doing everything right. LeBron hasn't had to score, Mo's showed up for the big game again, and JJ and Z are scoring well.

Only problem is free throws and that's a joke now with how bad we've been there. And of course, the disappearance of Mike Brown's defense.

No Verajao or Shaq, missed 14 free throws, LeBron 0-9 from 3, and down 22 in the 2nd half. And the Cavs have everything clinched.

To do what we did I'd say Cavs fans can be proud of their team for what they did. Good sign. We won in Boston already and took them to the limit with little going our way.

I thought you wanted homecourt in the finals?

So the Cavs won't win a game for the rest of the season and the Lakers will win every game for the rest of the season. Then they'll win homecourt?

So the Cavs will lose to Indiana and Toronto at home and LA will win in Denver?

Seeing how clutch LeBron is, I wouldn't put it past Cleveland to lose.

And am I the only one to find it ironic that the Cavs come back when Mike Brown was sent to the showers?

Cavs came back when LeBron took it to the basket. And he doesn't go to the basket when we can tie it. Rather, he reverts back to the three. How clutch LeBron is? His legacy isn't made from missing a game winning shot in Boston in the regular season, especially if you knew he brought the Cavs back from a 22 point deficit.

How clutch? Check his game winner vs. the Magic. Check his 7 plus ppg in the 4th.

1 extremely lucky shot in the playoffs is all you have. Ok

How about going one for two at the line, TWICE in the final minute

Well in the playoffs he makes his free throws. Paul Pierce missed a FT.

And how about no Andy, Shaq, and Z was fouled out. I don't think we'll be in that position against this team when we have all our players.

And did you realize we have nothing to do until the playoffs now? While ESPN now think the Celtics are back, they have to play well because they want the three seed.

IMO this is why the best player in the game is still up for debate cause LeBron yet still has to learn how to close out games like the best closer in the Kobe Bryant does. Until then there will be a debate on who the better player is.

Because of one game? If that's the case then where was Kobe when they lost to the Nuggets by 26. Or the time he went 5-20 against the Rockets and the Lakers lost the game by 10. Or the time he went 7-24 against the Jazz earlier in the season in an eight point loss. Or the loss against the Clippers where he went 10-30. And not to mention the 14-37 shooting against the Blazers (L), 12-31 shooting against the Cavs (L), 9-23 against the Mavs (L), 4-11 shooting against the Thunder (L), etc.

Take a look at the "clutch" stats of this season. (Clutch - 4th quarter or overtime, less than 5 minutes left, neither team ahead by more than 5 points )

LeBron (per 48 minutes of clutch time)

65.5 points

17.2 rebounds

7.2 assists

4.4 turnovers

2.0 blocks

2.8 steals

.490 FG%

.371 3P%

.81 FT%

+31 (+/-)

Kobe (per 48 minutes of clutch time)

50.1 points

7.3 rebounds

3.9 assists

3.1 turnovers

0.0 blocks

1.9 steals

.432 FG%

.346 3P%

.90 FT%

+10 (+/-)

LeBron averages:

15.4 more points

9.9 more rebounds

3.3 more assists

2 more blocks

.9 more steals

5.8% higher overall shooting percentage

2.5% higher three point percentage

The only thing that Kobe has an advantage in is turnovers and free throw percentage. Kobe might seem like a great clutch player due to a few buzzer beaters, but LeBron puts his team ahead in the last few minutes of the game so he won't have to make that game winning shot. That doesn't make him any less clutch.

If only LeBron would understand that he is NOT a good three point shooter.

He always takes deep threes as well. He is an average jump shooter, I don't know why he feels the need to force up deep threes

While LeBron has been a better overall player this season, you aren't considering Kobe's teammates being terrible three-point shooters, Bryant being ran off the ball constantly in the fourth quarter (doubled before he even gets across the three), and he's also had three rebounders in Gasol, Odom and Bynum, more scoring options, and EVERYONE in the triangle offense is required to pass the ball (it's a pass-first offense, five able-bodied passers).

That would be like me giving you Kevin Martin's stats from a few years back, his time in Sacramento, and comparing them to a better player.

Kobe is still the better clutch player. LeBron has been the better overall player this season, even though I relate SOME of that to Kobe's injuries throughout the entire season.

What extremely clutch shot has Kobe hit in the playoffs? Other than the one vs Suns, where they lost of course.
