you guys give up way too easily. every year. when will you learn that NBA regular season really has no serious implications apart from deciding who has home court?

YOu think we'll win it every damn year? give up while you can chump.

uhh...what? all I am saying is that overreacting over every regular season loss is a bit dumb. which is what some guys on here do.

He's a ball hog on offense, and not discipline on defense. He has his games. Yeah we miss his numbers but most of us were happy that Lamar would be starting. I miss him mostly because of depth, our bench is absolute [expletive] when Odom has to start.

As for the game...about time Phil pulled Farmar his shot selection is killing us.

Drew's shooting 57% from the field as opposed to 52% and 46% from Pau and LO. Yes, he doesn't always pass the ball as much as I'd like for him to. Yes, he frustrates me at times, and yes, he's not a perfect player. But many times this season he's been our best big man, it's been more than just "he has his games." He has been our 2nd or 3rd best player on the court numerous times this season. You don't miss him just because of "depth," you miss him because of production.

He's not disciplined on defense at times, but it sure as hell beats having Pau Gasol manning the middle.

With Drew now for 8 games, and we're 4-4. We managed a .500 record, whupee!!! The statistics that were shown during the game showed that the team plays much better both offensively and defensively with Drew in the lineup, than with Drew without. We're a much better team with Drew healthy, than without him. Stop denying it. If we want to win the championship this year, we better hope he's 100% healthy and ready to go. Otherwise, we're going to have a rough time trying to repeat.

Lakers are just playing some sorry basketball, while Manu plays the best basketball of his life.

Manu's last 10 games:

Apr 04 @ LAL - 32 points

Apr 02 vs. ORL - 43 points

Mar 31 vs. HOU - 18 points

Mar 28 @ BOS - 28 points

Mar 26 vs. CLE - 30 points

Mar 24 vs. LAL - 24 points

Mar 22 @ OKC - 21 points

Mar 21 @ ATL - 38 points

Mar 19 vs. GSW - 23 points

He has been killing lately.

What has been going on with the Lakers? I figured after that road trip ended they would pick it up at home but I guess not,

Lazy and bored as a lot of defending champs become during the season. This isn't the first time a Lakers team has become bored during the season, it happened in 2002 and 2003 as well imo. Team just needs to focus, hopefully they screw their heads back on before the playoffs begin

This isn't even the best basketball of his life. He played like this all the time during the Spurs glory years. Nobody paid attention because everyone loved the Suns, dismissed Ginobili because of his flopping, and assumed he traveled all the time. Now Parker is out, Duncan is regressing, and Manu's found his rhythm and people are realizing that Manu is really fricken good.

I remember when I came up with my first Top 30 shooting guard list two years ago, I had Ginobili third and got trashed for having him above people like Tracy McGrady, Vince Carter, and Gilbert Arenas. Since then, two of those guys have been complete disasters, and Carter's not on Ginobili's level.
