Warren2ThaG
I wonder if Kobe will play 2morrow, I think he should. But nobody knows. Plus this is a different Portland team were facing, they can play on the road now.
The Regime
I'll be at a friends house for this game so I probably wont post till after the game, hopefully we win.
kingfish
EL SEGUNDO, Calif. -- Kobe Bryant, the Lakers' self-proclaimed Bruce Willis, who detests missing games even more than he does missing shots, wants to return to the lineup Sunday at home against Portland after sitting out the last two games to rest his legs and alleviate swelling in his right knee. link
Warren2ThaG
If we win we'll play Portland for sure In my opinion in the 1st round.
Vitasoy
Pau's jump shot looks so good lately.
Warren2ThaG
Great start, better stay like this even when benches swap in. But I doubt we'll keep it up.
Dr. Feelgood
Got right back in the game with a three by Rudy and a drive in layup by Dre Miller. Down by 1 point at the half.
kingfish
Kobe not having much of an impact on this game.
Cleveland's Finest
Besides Odom, I still don't see what's so special about this bench. Especially when you compare it to the benches of Dallas, Denver, etc...I mean Walton is average I guess....yet these commentators say it's better not to have too much depth, then go on to say how this doesn't matter if LA wins or not and they are just fine. kingfish
The too much depth thing was about Portland, and how they traded Steve Blake so they can focus on Andre Miller. And they are right that if we win or not were still fine and have the 1st seed in the West already locked up.

From what I interpret from the Laker fan here, it seems they want this win bad and want to see their team get back on track. I'd say yes, the game is important. Teletopez
Brandon Roy won't be returning to the game after injuring his knee.

Owner Real Deal Posted April 11, 2010 Owner Report Share Posted April 11, 2010 Fisher sucks, man. Kobe isn't shooting well again. I'm a bit worried about it.

The Artesticle
Kobe has been playing like dog crap lately. I don't know why he rushed back, he should've just sat this one out. We have the #1 seed locked up already, and he hasn't done anything positive on the court all day.
Owner Real Deal Posted April 11, 2010 Owner Report Share Posted April 11, 2010 Damn man. 1) Kobe is [expletive] up. Don't play him again for the rest of the season, don't care about HCA in the Finals right now. 2) Fisher is the worst defense player starting for an NBA team. Worse than Nash, Calderon, and anyone else. 3) Gasol's pick and roll defense is pathetic, and it's killing us. If Kobe plays like this during the playoffs, we're done. Write it down. It's over. Owner Real Deal Posted April 11, 2010 Owner Report Share Posted April 11, 2010 I HATE... 1) Derek Fisher 2) Screen and rolls 3) Lamar Odom's defense
Warren2ThaG
He wont. Its Kobe Bryant. Yah actually he will, he has multiple injuries. We almost beat Denver in Denver wthout Kobe and can't beat Portland with Kobe and a barely playing Roy.
kingfish
Just when u guys thought he was done. He still bails us out.
Cleveland's Finest
If they call the charge for Vujacic, they better call it for Webster, and they don't. Clearly a charge. And then the illegal screen by Fisher, ramming Webster to the side for a wide open shot for Kobe. Even the homer Laker announcers admitted it. After the harsh calls on Portland in the Dallas game a few days ago, and now this, it's sort of seeming like a trend by the refs on making bad calls in a sequence of plays on Portland. Owner Real Deal Posted April 11, 2010 Owner Report Share Posted April 11, 2010 I have no idea how he does it. Six straight points from Kobe, a mean three from deep and a layup + free throw. Terrible all game, except in the last minute or two. Don't even care.
