Poe
Key for tonight: Chris Quinn must be contained.
Cobb
Another key for tonight: Win so the Hawks can play the Bucks in the first round of the playoffs.
Cleveland's Finest
The Heat resting all the stars. Sort of risky. I'd rather play the Celtics. I also don't want to see Heat/Hawks again. :-/
SRV
Don't sweat it, we can beat the Nets without Wade, I hope. I agree, Hawks/Heat again would just be really annoying because I have a feeling it will be the same boring series as last year. SRV
Wow, Brandon Marshall is at the game and he just got to Miami today lol
Cobb
Really? Wow, that's tight. Come on Heat! You can beat the horrid Nets.
Cobb
Wow, this one is all tied up! Come on Heat!
SRV
I have a feeling we don't care about winning or losing....both match-ups are tough either way.If we wanted to play Boston, Wade would have played. Haha, just the way Spo is laughing and Wade, Haslem, and O'Neal are joking around. Then Arroyo just pushes down Quinn, looks like we are tanking this lol. Edited April 15, 2010 by SRV
Owner Real Deal Posted April 15, 2010 Owner Report Share Posted April 15, 2010 Why the hell would the Heat want to drop down and play Atlanta? Boston is dragging their own players through the mud just to maintain their playoff composure. They are the most vulnerable top four seed in the NBA, and Wade has a chance to do to them what he did to Dallas in 2006. This was dumb. Flash
Absurd charge call. CDR was leaning back even before Mike hit him.
Vinyard
Hottest game of the year!
SRV
Someone win already. We just benched Arroyo and put in Diawara, who has played like 3 games all year. We are def. trying to lose this or rest Arroyo. Edited April 15, 2010 by SRV
SRV
LMAO, this is the funniest game of the year, Yakuba with the bank three!

Owner Real Deal Posted April 15, 2010 Owner Report Share Posted April 15, 2010 I don't even understand this game. I laughed at Eric Snow and Steve Smith, though. They were like, "It's just a weird night." They were cracking up about Diawara's bank three, how Erik substituted right before the overtime tip (LOL), and how Wade, Haslem and O'Neal were in suits. Vinyard
Man, it's been a long year.
Poe
LOL, when Spo subbed Diawara in, I couldn't help but think that he was really trying to lose this game. Looks like the players ruined his plans.
Built Ford Tough
I don't get it though. Why would Miami want to lose this game and play the Hawks in the first round instead of the Celtics?  I'm not sure of how the Heat played these two teams this seson (I remember one OT game against Boston, but thats about it), but based on the way that the Celtics have played basically .500 basketball since their 24-5 (or whatever) start and have looked like absolute crap over the last 10 games of the season, why would the Heat rather play the Hawks in the first round? If I had the choice, there is absolutely no way that I would want to play the Hawks over the Celtics based on the way that the season has gone. Are the Heat that confident that they will be able to beat both the Hawks and the Celtics that they would've thrown away the easier first round matchup in order to avoid the Cavs in the 2nd round? I just don't understand why the Heat basically looked like they were tanking this game. Flash
We matchup a lot better with Atlanta IMO so that's the only legit reason I could see.
Poe
Rondo will murder Arroyo and Chalmers, JO hasn't done so well against Perkins' defense, and Q-Rich is not as good of a defender as Spo makes him out to be. Plus, the Heat aren't likely to take advantage of the Celtics' old legs since they are the worst fast-break team in the league. It's part of the reason why they are 0-3 against them this year. Really, it's a worse match up than the Hawks, who the Heat have a 3-1 season record against.
