New York @ Toronto

Sonny Weems is playing tonight despite what happened in Detroit.

Antoine Wright isn't able to go tonight though. There was some speculation that he may be able to play, but it sounds like he won't be in the lineup.

Jay Triano better have a quick trigger finger when it comes to Calderon tonight. The minute that Calderon starts to play like his usual useless self, send him to the bench and put Jack in the game. Now is not the time to try and boost Calderon's trade value.

Hell, bench Calderon for Marcus Banks if need be. At least he won't make Chris Duhon look like Steve Nash out there.

Part of me wants to win, part of me wants to lose. The winning part of me knows (use that lightly) BC will does something to make a change. Not as big as last off season but yea.

Do you really still have faith in Bryan Colangelo to make a move that will actually have a significant impact on this team?

Sure, Colangelo has done a good job of bringing in role players like Jarrett Jack, Anthony Parker, Jorge Garbajosa, Sonny Weems, Amir Johnson and Rasho Nesterovic but literally all of th emajor moves hat he has made since coming Toronto have been terrible.

Turkoglu signing? Awful.

Bargnani and Calderon extensions? Will cripple the team finacially for the next 4/5 years.

O'Neal trade? Didn't work out.

Marion trade? Had to give up a 1st round pick along with (semi-) valuable assets like Jermaine O'Neal and Jamario Moon for 20 or so games of Marion.

I have no doubt that Colangelo will do something in the offseason regardless of whether or not the Raptors make the playoffs. However, I have no faith at all that the move he will make will make any sort of difference on the team.

Knicks up 5-4 currently.

Does anybody else get the feeling that the Bulls will lose in Charlotte tonight, but the Raptors will blow it by losing to New York?

I don't have much faint that's why it's a light feeling, but that was advanced from a few days ago when i thought he'd do nothing if we made the playoffs.

Also I love that the Score has the Chicago game at the bottom right.

I don't.

It is basically just a constant reminder of how bad of a failure the Raptors season has been. Looking down and seeing the Bulls lead always being around 10 points just angers me and takes away the joy of watching basketball.

Makes me not have to listen to those awful announcers though.

The Bulls announcers?

I love those guys after watching the Nets game, particularly the color guy.

I don't think I have heard the Bobcats announcers before though.

I think it is pretty obvious what is going to happen though. The Raptors will win this game but it won't mean anything as the Bulls will beat the Bobcats. The Bulls lead has been basically 10 points or more all game long and with Gerald Wallace having a sore shoulder, I doubt that the Cats will be too worried about making a late game push to try and steal the game.

I love Amir.

21 points on 9/12 shooting.

The only thing with him is that he simply doesn't know how to stay on the floor. He just can't not foul when he is on the court. If he could somehow learn how to not foul every second that he is on the floor, he could become a good player in the league, and a possible starting caliber power forward (obviously not on a contending team, but a middle of the pack team).

Sadly, he has been in the league for around 5 years now and he still hasn't sorted out his fouling issue. Then again, this really is the first time in his career that he has been given a legitimate shot at proving himself.

the Raptors really need to defend the 3 point line. It is not like the Knicks are going to hurt you anywhere else on the floor. It is inexcusable to give players like Gallinari wide open 3's, especially considering the fact that Gallinari can't really do anything other than shoot 3's.

CB4 is in the building!

I hope Bosh gives a salute or something or gets a standing ova, something nice to remember him by.

Lol the Knicks are making Bargnani look so good. Hopefully next year Demar can replace some of the FT attempts we lose from Bosh, he gets to the line alot.

DeMar DeRozan with a career high 24 points.

Raptors with a franchise high 131 points in regulation.

Raptors shoot a franchise high 65%.

And none of this means anything to me at all, considering the way that the Raptors choked after the All-Star break.

What a terrible season.

So is Bosh pretty guaranteed to be gone in the offseason or is there still a chance Toronto can resign him?

You know as much as I know. It's up in the air, the feeling around Raptor fans is that he is gone. But again, that is just a feeling.
