Guest N4S
San Francisco Chronicle - The Phillies are looking for a right-handed bat off the bench and they sent a scout to watch the Athletics recently. Nomar Garciaparra could be an option for Philadelphia, and the utility infielder tried to land a spot with the defending champs last winter. http://baseball.realgm.com/src_wiretap_archives/16198/20090810/nomar_could_be_what_phillies_need_off_bench/

Phightins
I'd honestly rather keep Bruntlett. Not saying Bruntlett is a better hitter, but now that we have Francisco there would be very few times where we'd need that 2nd right handed bat off the bench to come up in a big pinch hitting spot. Bruntlett can play every single position on the field and play them well, which Nomar can't do.
