Guest N4S
Here are the RB Committees I stay away from when drafting: (sorry if I missed any) Dallas: Barber / Jones / Choice New England: Morris / Faulk / Taylor / Green-Ellis / Maroney Tampa Bay: Ward / Graham / Cadillac Oakland: McFadden / Fargas / Bush Denver: Moreno / Buckhalter / Torain / Hillis / Jordan I think out of them the only player I would take a risk on is Marion Barber. bigdog17k
Thx, I'm drafting today. I'll keep this in mind. I've never drafted a RB with my first pick, so I think I'm gonna try and get a top RB first this year. Lot's of sleepers in other categories. EastCoastNiner
You're screwing up if you wouldn't draft Darren McFadden. He is having a very good camp, and is going to get a lot of touches this season.
Guest N4S
I think I'm going RB in the first and WR in the second this year. Unless some unexpected first rounder RB falls to the second round. Someone said Westbrook fell to the 2nd and they grabbed him. That's a given. True, anybody who drafts anything other than a RB or WR in the first are nuts. QBs this year can go in the 3rd-4th rounds imo. I might draft a D/ST in the 3rd. They can get you tons of points. Also, if you are looking for a sleeper WR, you need to take Josh Morgan. I am telling you that he will have a huge season and the 49er's #1 WR, and he is having an awesome camp. Anyways, I didn't take any RB's until a little later, hoping that they would have bounce back seasons.

The team has added Joey Galloway to go with Randy Moss and Wes Welker, and it is going to be extremely hard to stop all three of the guys with great speed. But alot could be said about other QBs aswell, Peyton usually always has a solid year. Tom Brady is just a risk though, not because of the injury, but because who knows if you want to base your fantasy team around whether he'll have that HUGE year like he did. Guest N4S
I'm waiting till 4th or 5th for a QB this year.
EastCoastNiner
Niners have no QB. lol Alex Smith and Shaun Hill are looking good so far, especially Alex Smith. Anyways, I don't like choosing RB's early. Edited August 11, 2009 by EastCoastNiner
Diesel
QB's taken early arn't as bad as people see. RB's get hurt so much more than QB's so it's a much bigger risk while other than Phantom injuries like Tom Brady last year the QB is usually healthy for the long haul. If I see Drew Brees or Tom Brady up there early on and I like him better than the RB's I am picking him no question. I have my draft tonight so we'll see how it goes. And I like the Dallas RB's N4S. Not a big fan of anyone else as their not really that good to begin with.
Flight
I missed my draft, but I grabbed Tarv off FA. I think that he'll be a solid backup (I also have Philip Rivers, so unless he gets injured I'll never need him), and always has a few huge games. Galloway is going to have the same type of role on the Pats.

bigdog17k
Really nice but how many teams and what pick did you get? 10 teams, I had the 7th overall pick. And correction, I got Westbrook in the 3rd. Welker in the 4th.

Galloway is going to have the same type of role on the Pats. That makes no sense at all considering I never said someone should pick up Joey Galloway. Tom Brady has better offensive weapons than he did during the 2007-2008 season.
