magicbalala245 Posted August 12, 2009 Report Share Posted August 12, 2009 Jeanie Buss, daughter of Lakers owner Jerry, basically says now that Kurt Rambis (Wolves coach) isn't on the Lakers staff, Phil Jackson might not feel obligated to retire after next season:"Phil is healthy and maybe this is an opportunity for Phil to continue to stay with the Lakers. ... Maybe now that Kurt has moved on, Phil doesn't feel the need to step down so that his protege has a chance. So maybe this all worked out for the best." I found this on Fox Sports rumor section and their link just went to Jeanie Buss twitter page which led you to this LINK. So instead of putting all those link I just posted the quote.
