The Goods
Jamaal Tinsley's agent said he is scheduled to resume negotiations with Pat Riley next week about a deal that might soon land his client in Miami. Raymond Brothers said Thursday he spoke by phone with Riley earlier this week and the two agreed to resume talks after the weekend. Riley was in Hawaii as late as Wednesday, but was back at his offseason home in Southern California on Thursday. He was not available for comment. "I talked to Pat when he was out there. There's still interest on both sides," Brothers said. "We'll see what happens. But we'll talk again." Brothers said Miami is among "three or four" teams that are interested in signing Tinsley, who worked out last month for New York. Brothers would not say Thursday if there were plans to have Tinsley work out for the Heat. http://realgm.com/src_wiretap_archives/61121/20090813/tinsley_will_resume_talks_with_heat/
ExesAndOhs
He could start fresh in Miami and have a good season there backing up Chalmers.
Owner Real Deal Posted August 14, 2009 Owner Report Share Posted August 14, 2009 Tinsley is done. The Heat would be better off pursuing Allen Iverson, as long as he defers to Wade. Long shot there, probably...but at least Iverson can play basketball.
