reno Posted September 15, 2009 Report Share Posted September 15, 2009 bears defeated themselves this game, so many mental errors, wide receivers stopped running routes, running the wrong routes, punter called for a direct snap on 4th down, cutler throwing for 4 interceptions, poor use of timeouts/challenges. Funny thing is, we actually had the lead with less than 2 minutes to go. Packers may have won, but they are a [expletive]ty team team, and will get exploited against a top caliber team. But, on side note, I am very pleased with some of the receiving stats we had. Hester 4 receptions, 90 yards 1 touch down. Knox 2 catches 82 yards, Bennett 7 catches 66 yards. Cutler just needs to tone his passing a bit down while we develop some of the receivers, and we should be good. The sky is not falling yet! We played [expletive]ty, bad play calling, stupid mental errors, lots of turnovers, and still almost beat the "superbowl" bound, packers.
