Or, well, he'll just throw the long ball all game long, and get picked from it. Russell needs to stick to throwing five yards down the field, instead of 50. Unfortunately, that's not the type of QB he is. It would be like me asking Michael Vick to toss the ball to his receivers underhanded. As good as Williams is, he can't singlehandedly overcome the massive disadvantages of a feeble defensive scheme and secondary. Russell is bad, but he's in a very favorable situation here, it would behoove the Raiders to take advantage of that... he needs the confidence boost.
