Multi-Billionaire
I bookmark "www.otrbasketball.com/forums" and sometimes I'm led to this forum but for the past three days since this site is created, I am still often led to the message Real Deal posted after the site was hacked: To all OTRBasketball members, OTRBasketball fell victim to an exploit on Friday, June 26th, 2009. It's a very unfortunate situation, given that the most current backup, and the only backup, was on a hard drive that is damaged and useless, and that our host does not provide weekly backups. I can assure you that something like this happens when another site owner doesn't live up to expectations, when a member is banned for excessive spamming (and sometimes, this is a site owner), or when someone is challenged by their online friends to hack into a website, or miss out on their friends' Harry Potter Birthday Extravaganza. But, to all of those who have put in long hours, shared your knowledge with everyone else, and especially to those who are considered our veteran posters (some spending over four years with us), there's no need to be angry at what happened. OTR will be back. It will be better, twice as good. If there's anyone to blame for what happened, it's me. The site wasn't as secure as I needed it to be. I didn't have a current backup. I wasn't paying closer attention to the forums. Numerous things. With that said, you have my word that something will be done. If he's caught, good. If not, he doesn't deserve the credit to begin with. It's on me. When it's all said and done, OTR will still be your home, and a new home for other members who could very well be leaving the site owned by our irrelevant hacker. He got our attention. We'll walk right past him. - Brandon So I closed the window, and tried again, still the same page, then tried just "otrforums.com" and still the same. I don't want to see the message, I just want to go to this forum. But there's no link, nothing is it just me, or does it happen to anyone else? Multi-Billionaire
I rarely do that, but even as I didn't, I now can access the forum just fine. Usually evening time, is good, but morning is when I see that message by RD... and can't go to the forum until night time.

Multi-Billionaire
Cool thanks Real, don't really understand the terms but does it mean it will only be like this for a few days and the problem is gone?
alcstarheel
With it happening intermittently that is weird. Try going to the full site name below: http://www.otrbasketball.com/forums/index.php See if this works.
